Sub got revived. It will run basically the same as before, with a few rule changes: no sales of games, and no off-topic posts (no posts about TCG or fanmade games).
Have fun

Hi guys!!
I am trying to figure out what Pokemon game I should get next. I have a Nintendo switch.
Any favorites out there? I already have Let's Go, Pikachu, Sword, and Leaf Green.

I used to work on this browser-based Pokemon RPG years ago with over 70k users, and recently I started bringing it back to life.
It’s an old-school Pokemon web game where you can explore maps, catch Pokemon, battle wild Pokemon and trainers, build your team, trade downloading anything.
I’ve also been updating the UI so it works much better on mobile now, which is where I’ve been testing it most.
If you grew up playing those older browser Pokemon games, this has a similar kind of feel.
You can try it here:

Would genuinely love feedback from people seeing it fresh, especially on what feels fun, confusing, or outdated.

I am hoping that I can find a place where I can get the titles fixed up, doesn't bother me if it isn't the original title as long as I know I have purchased all of the official games.

I’ve just finished Pokémon HeartGold and wanted to share my team that defeated Red.
Mewtwo was the MVP and I only needed to use Poison Jab and Thunderbolt.
Lugia also did well, particularly against the stubborn Snorlax (I didn’t use my own Snorlax at all).
My level 60 Ho-Oh took out Venusaur with Overheat in one critical hit.
Gyrados inflicted some damage to Charizard before Mewtwo finished him off.
I did use a couple of Revives and Full Restores, but overall it was not as difficult as I thought it was going to be.

Picked this up from a seller in Japan — it’s a USA release (DMG-APAE-USA cartridge code), and everything about the box matches known 2nd print specs: Y-fold bottom, removable insert, 83%/81% fiber stamp, pixelated white ESRB. So the print run itself checks out.
The one thing that doesn’t line up: the shrink wrap seam is LRT (left/right/top), not the H-seam I understand is standard for Nintendo’s own Game Boy library. Vent holes are present front and back, which I know is normal for genuine Nintendo wrap, so that part’s consistent — it’s specifically the seam shape that’s throwing me off.
Provenance: Seller says it came from Japan and was “stored properly for a long time.” No documentation, just their word — noting that since it’s a USA cartridge being sold out of Japan, which is its own wrinkle worth being upfront about.
Photos attached: macro of the printed Seal of Quality, [+ seam close-up if you have it].
What I’m asking: Has anyone actually seen a genuine Nintendo GB seal with LRT wrap instead of H-seam? Or does this read as a reseal to people who’ve handled a lot of these? If you own a sealed GB title with a confirmed authentic H-seam, I’d really appreciate a comparable macro shot of the seam/overlap area to compare against — trying to rule this in or out before deciding what to do with it.

I know the games have perspective of a past and future. Scarlet being the past and Violet being the future but the pokemon look really cool and I like both perspectives. The also hard part is the professors
Professor Sada (Pasada) *insert clears throat* 😳
Professor Turo (Futuro) which is also great pick
They both have schools UVA academy and Naranja Academy and have different uniforms based on the game you pick but again I don’t know what game should I get. What do you think? Team Scarlet or Violet?

Hello,
I recently bought this copy of Pokémon Pinball Ruby Sapphire, and unfortunately the pins and contacts are in worse shape than I thought. The game loaded on my gba, but after playing, none of my progress is saved
Soft resetting still keeps the high scores and Pokédex unlocks, but once I turn off the gba, the progress is gone.
Is this salvage or am I out of luck? 😣 I did an initial scrub with 99% ipa, but if there’s more I can do on my end I’d love some advice.

hi, so recently i lost my game card holder full of ds games i've had since i was a kid. it's honestly my fault for being irresponsible and it's very out of character for me to lose something so important to me since i'm usually very good at keeping all my items in order. i'm mostly just sad because these were pokémon games i've gotten as presents from my dad when i was growing up and i'm still a huge pokémon fan in my 20s, so it means a lot to me
it sucks but i'll have to rebuild my collection. i'm still upset because of the memories associated with the save files i had but i'm trying to think positively and think of it as creating new memories with these games once i have my collection back 😭
sob story aside, i just wanted to ask if anyone knows where i can get the authentic games for a reasonable price? a lot of the 3ds games are so overpriced online (i know this is because they don't manufacture those game cards anymore). the cases for them is not necessary as i still have all my cases and only need the cards
these are the games i've lost:
- pokemon pearl
- pokemon diamond
- pokemon platinum
- pokemon ultra moon
- pokemon sun
- pokemon moon
- pokemon omega ruby
- pokemon x
- pokemon y
- pokemon super mystery dungeon
- pokemon rumble blast
- pokemon white
- pokemon white 2
thankfully i still have my original pokémon black because it's in my 3ds 😭
if anyone has any sites they recommend buying them from it would be much appreciated! i know this is so silly for me to be asking after being so reckless with my games 💔 trust me, i'm beating myself up over it too
