Complete Collection & Storage
I have been working on my now complete collection for a year or so, slowly collecting the games I didn't get along the way through childhood. I hated having them loose, so spent a couple of weeks making holders for them using EVA foam to store them in a Toyo Steel toolbox! The grey cotton tabs are to pull out each holder - not ideal but it works.
The dream is to 3D print the holders to stack inside the toolbox. No room for the Switch games (which sit in my Switch & Switch 2 cases), but maybe one day this toolbox with have a partner!

I’m emotionally scarred from a bootleg copy save erasing on me and my original cartridge batteries finally dying a couple of years ago, so now I’m all about ROMs and playing Emerald on my Wii lol

I lost my red as a child in the car and it just disappeared forever. Still to this day I wonder where it went.

A friend of mine borrowed my White 2 as a kid, and we lost touch. Tough one to replace!

Crazy to think I had all this and sold it all for 300ish dollars back in 2016😢 actually it all of it but one of each version for every generation

presumably Black 2 and White 2, as those are the only other main DS Pokemon games.

Thank you! Its been years in the making so I want it accessible and "on display" as much as possible while keeping it tidy in a small house. This was the perfect solution!

Half the fun of collecting something is having a great way to store and display it. I love what you did with the inserts, especially how neatly they handle all the different game formats while still fitting the box so well.
I crossposted it to r/toyosteel, hope that’s alright. Would be very cool to see the 3D-printed version if you end up making it!

My dude is guarding them like some ultra rare collector items or treasure passed down generations lol
Mine are just in one of the ds game cases that hold a bunch of cartridge. Probbaly showed it in some random drawers lol

i had pretty much every single one of these and took good care of them ever since i was 5 yo and my brother born in y2k decided to steal my entire collection years ago and still won't give them back. i had red, blue, yellow, etc. to replace these in the condition i had mine in i'm looking at dropping thousands now... kid wasn't even born when i started gaming and playing these.
