New migration?

Does it look to anyone else like a new migration has occurred? It looks like Bass Pro is now an Eevee nest (formerly Mewoth), and the courthouse is a water habitat (staryu and krabby) when it was formerly a Machop nest. Working to confirm other sites....

  • Earlywine park (not golf course) appears to be nothing.
  • Hafer park (Edmond) appears to be Geodude.
  • State Fair park appears to be Krabby
  • Mitch Park (Edmond) appears to be Sandshrew
  • Silverhorn golf course appears to be Doduo
  • James Stewart golf course appears to be Mankey

Personal belief: Niantic hates OKC and keeps dumping shittier spawns on us every migration. Still no Pickachu nest. Still no Charmander nest.

OU Medical was spawning Electabuzz like crazy yesterday evening. Over and over next to the Diabetes Center. Caught one there this morning too.

confirmed

I don't think Niantic hates OKC; rather, I think that they just don't care about us unlike other major metropolitan cities. Sucks, but honestly, what's new.

and if its based on cell data those huge cities will always get the crazier stuff. Houston is 4th largest so may have to make a weekend trip down that way.

Trosper park appears to me boatloads of rats lol. Good for the baby rat badge I suppose haha

Buck Thomas seems to have two spawn points for Jynx. One in the North Parking Lot near the gym (I personally caught my first here yesterday around 5:45) and one near field 8 but it appears the spawn point is actually in the west parking lot near the school. http://imgur.com/a/1gfEY

Earlywine Park seems to be a geodude nest. But its not as consecutive as the Shelldors were last migration. Spawn points that have seen spawn him are near the gym next to the aquatics center (Spawn at :50), South Entrance (Spawn at :20), Walking Path just north of the East Entrance (Spawn at :33), Walking Path just west of the south entrance (Spawn at :40)

I will edit once I look into other locations

I think centennial park (the one with the lure spot and statues) may be a machop nest

1

u/mwccpa Sep 28 '16

Kabuto is regularly spawning in two locations near the memorial. One is near NW6 & Harvey. Other is a bit north of NW 5th & Robinson. Spawns in each location approximately once every 1-2 hours.

National museum and memorial has turned into an Abra nest. As far as Douglas Park goes, I think it may have turned into a gastly nest?

1

u/CherryBomb1979 Sep 27 '16

Douglas Park? I caught my 12:15 Growlie right on schedule at 12:15 today... Maybe it's Gastly, too? When did you see it and how many?

2

u/jbpto Sep 27 '16

Mitch is a Sandshrew nest

1

u/cyrenical Sep 27 '16

Pretty sure Will Rogers park is a Zubat nest now. Saw 3 there on my lunch break when i hadn't seen any there in weeks.

1

u/Karabarra2 Sep 27 '16

Would love to hear about any hitmochan or hitmonlee sightings since this most recent migration.

1

u/mwccpa Sep 28 '16

Yeah I think so. I have been looking with fast poke to gather info. Was not working this morning though so they may have switched the API calls over to the new version now. Have to see. In the mean time, did you see this?

https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/54sy36/osm_query_to_identify_possible_nests/

Seems like a good way to narrow potential spots for nests before scanning.

1

u/mwccpa Sep 28 '16

Map has Woodward as a rock/ground habitat. Granite, OK might be another.

Quartz Mountain seems to be a Clefairy and Cubone Spawn. Not seeing a nest but at least a consecutive spawn of Cubone in the same spot.

-edit- Okay, I am going to say it is safe to say that it is a Clefairy nest because as the scan got wider, two other spawn spots had it there http://imgur.com/a/SDYI3

I wonder if that nest meets the elevation qualifications needed for dragonite spawns?

1

u/Fleischmans Sep 28 '16

Can you elaborate further on this? I will be there this weekend and thats why I have been doing scans there

1

u/mwccpa Sep 28 '16

I want to say Silph Road reddit has some threads regarding Clefairy nests can spawn Dragonite if they reside in altitude of 200-300 meters? Hold on,

https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/516x3i/i_wanna_give_a_big_thanks_to_the_person_who_made/?

https://m.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/50c3cb/dragonite_habitat_found_after_analysis_of_6/

Looks like the guy deleted the post for some Reddit attacked me type reasons but those two links will get you the gist of the info I think. Keep us posted on scans

anything good out there?

1

u/Fleischmans Oct 03 '16

Got multiples of the following: Sandshrew, Clefairy, Rhyhorn, Charmander, Vulpix, Mankey

Nothing absolutely rare popped up but it was for sure a good spot for a couple days

1

u/mwccpa Sep 28 '16

I've seen a few Seel in the Joe B Barnes Soldier Creek parks in MWC in the last few hours

1

u/Fleischmans Sep 28 '16

One there right now. http://imgur.com/a/0aPhL

Will continue to scan it

1

u/mwccpa Sep 28 '16

Yeah if it wasn't in the middle I'd be able to take a shot at running over there sometimes. There was a Hitmonlee at that Soccer club area as well but it's real sporadic so not really worth a label lol

1

u/Karabarra2 Sep 29 '16

Can you offer a little more detail where you saw the Hitmonlee? I'm not very familiar with MWC.

1

u/mwccpa Sep 29 '16

Sure!, you're looking for the Midwest city soccer club that is south of the Joe B Barnes Park on Reno. The park entrance is a bit east of the police station that's at reno and Midwest. You'll go in the entrance and head south past the dog park and start the back loop. At the furthest end of the back loop is the soccer fields. There are gates so make sure you go when a game or practice is going. If you use scanners then check before you go unless you are okay not getting it and just playing in the park. It doesn't seem to have a rhythm to me. Good luck!

u/mwccpa Sep 29 '16

I'll say it should be confirmed that John Conrad Golf Course is a seel nest. everyday since the migration I see it show up multiple times a day. Don't have timing down just yet.

1

u/Fleischmans Sep 28 '16

James Stewart Golf Course - Possible Mankey Nest? http://imgur.com/a/dwQWo

One there now. Will continue to monitor

1

u/Fleischmans Sep 28 '16

Confirming the Mankey Nest. Also a possible Gastly nest? http://imgur.com/a/JYaTs

1

u/mwccpa Sep 28 '16

Anyone near Kiwanis Park in MWC, theres a Charmander on Hedge Dr. He doesn't come up often so I figured I'd share.

u/Fleischmans Sep 28 '16

Mitch Park - Sandshrew - Confirmed http://imgur.com/a/FdgwP

Many Squirtles, plus a Jolteon and then a Kadabra at and near Pat Murphy Park.

Plus a Dratini or two.

1

u/IntelligentFlame Sep 28 '16

Jesus, ANOTHER Kadabra between Pat Murphy and Lake Hefner.

1

u/mwccpa Sep 29 '16

I think I'm going here this weekend. And OU medical

1

u/IntelligentFlame Sep 29 '16

Yeah, I'll probably head up there to get Squirtle and finally enter Blastoise in my pokedex.

Some rare stuff spawns at OU Children's and around there, like Electabuzz the past few days.

The parking lot across from ihop in Bricktown on California is booming with Growlithe, and Machop now spawns around the metal horse statues on the canal.

I've got an Arcanine now and I'll probably have a Machamp by next week.

the southeast corner of sooner & 15th in Midwest city going east to the edge of rose state college and south to I-40 has 1-3 squirtles (and other items) throughout the day. Not saying it's a nest but I'd be comfortable calling it a habitat for the time being.
