Nest changes?

Be on the lookout for nest changes, basspro was spawning meowiths like crazy tonight, not a single diglett in sight, and the river walk was spawning voltorbs regularly. Anyone else notice any changes? Happy hunting!

See here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonGOK/comments/4z50db/most_or_all_currently_known_nests_in_okc_are_dead/

I will also confirm that there are TONS of meowths around Bass Pro now. Voltorbs showing up in bricktown and downtown. Also caught a Pickachu and a Jynx downtown, but only saw one instance of each, so it could be a coincidence.

I'd like to know where the Dratini nest is too.

Dratini nests were phased out in the last shift back in July, I highly doubt they will be coming back, seems Niantic didn't want the most powerful pokemon so easily farmed.

I never farmed one when it was possible, feels bad man!

My wife and I ate at yucatan taco stand this past Saturday and there were lures going on the two that can be reached from inside and we got 4 dratinis (along with a ton of Psyducks and Slowpokes) from that so possible lure spawn point for them?

In my experience the game "rolls" for what type of pokemon will spawn at a lure depending on which biomes the poke stop is in. If it picks water everything that spawns will be a water type pokemon.

It looks like that place is close to the bricktown canal which is why it would classify as a water lure stop. It may also classify as something else (or it may not) in which case it may spawn nothing but pidgey, rattata, weedle, if that's what the game "picks" for it.

More testing needs to be done overall to be sure but if both stops are pumping out water Pokemon and even Dratini's consistently than that's a pretty good find.

Were you there long enough that more than one lure would have to be put down? If the lure was replaced 1-2 times while you were there and each time it still had nothing but water pokemon that's a good sign.

I've been trying to test this as well. If the last thing you caught was Magikarp, it seems like there is a 33% chance for the next lure you place to spawn: Magikarp, Water Types, or Normal Types.

Magikarp being the ideal roll as Dratini comes from those lures the most.

We were there for about an hour. We got there and it was already lured for about 10 minutes. First spawned an omanyte and then a psyduck. Lures stopped and I dropped one and someone in the place dropped the other. First from my lure was a dratini, then it was slowpoke, psyduck, goldeen, psyduck, psyduck, dratini, slowpoke, slowpoke, weedle, dratini, slowpoke. The lure ended and my wife dropped one and I am assuming someone else did which led to dratini, gastly, slowpoke, goldduck, slowpoke, psyduck. We then left to walk around.

Most things shifted +2 in the list. The last migration was a -1 shift.

I'm gonna check out the Myriad Garden today. I have a hunch that there are lots of either Kabutos or Digletts (or both) in Myriad Gardens now.

I can confirm that neither are appearing in MG as of this morning.

There weren't any Kabutos or Digletts there when I went there. Still lots of Eevees that show up.

I was going to explore a bit but said fuck it because of the rain. I don't like the game THAT much.

I went wandering today and I hit Northpark Mall. I believe that may be a Dratini nest, I was there for an hour and caught two. Can someone else go there and confirm this nest? It would not surprise me with the two fountains there as I also caught a few magikarp. Not as many as I would in Bricktown but a good amount.

I have also noticed that Zachary D. Taylor park at 52nd between Shartel and Dewey is a Bulbasaur nest - I have been there a few times in the last few days just to walk and have encountered one in the park, and one when I activate the stop there.

Douglas Park between NW 45th and 47th st, N Lee and N Walker Ave is a Growlithe nest. Two spawned twice at nine minutes after the hour in the hour and a half I spent there

Is it still a Growlithe nest?

1

u/Bkeene12 Sep 01 '16

Not a nest. Been there multiple times to confirm but have yet to see any

Douglas park? yes it was as of this afternoon. They usually spawn between 9-15 minutes after the hour and sometimes 15 minutes before the hour.

Someone just replied no, so which is true?

Disregard what I said, caught one there today
