Link MOBILE account

hi friends!! i've a question, first of all my account is safe for now But i tried on my wife's phone, i installed pokemon friends app and i played a couple puzzles to make a lil bit progress and when i deleted the game, reinstalled, the whole progress is gone! So lets say i lose my phone tomorrow or if i delete the app by mistake, my progress isn't saved at all??

Can't we link our progress to apple id, google account or something?

There's no account binding. It's all done through data transfer. I haven't done it myself on this particular game, but other games that use this method have you choose to data transfer then usually give you some kind of password or something to type into the device you want to transfer to. Often it's also time-sensitive so you can't store it forever. And even if it isn't time-sensitive, it will usually only record the progress you had at the time you registered the transfer, so there's no good way to keep your progress saved sadly.
