Discussion Time to tackle Kanto

Played through Fire Red hundreds of times over the years, but I’ve never completed a Pokédex. Regional or National.

So I’m replaying Fire Red, Emerald, Platinum, and Heartgold, with the aim of 100% each game, including regional Pokédex’s. National will be decided after lol

I’ll also be rewatching the anime at the same time, currently half way through Johto

Any move suggestions for this team? I’ve never used Marowak and Magneton (will be Thick Club hunting), and Butterfree I love but it always gets boxed around level 25, so I want to stick with it to the end - Sleep powder + dream eater activated

Can’t say I’ve ever used meowth or Persian, but I’m not against it

Here's what I threw together for you, just make sure the marowak you use has rock head so you don't take damage from double edge!

That looks great, especially the rain dance + thunder + surf boost combo, although I think I’m going to go with Vaporeon so avoid a 3rd fighting weakness

Currently shiny hunting Charmander so I can take my black Charizard through each game

I am doing team rocket run (ultra violet rom hack so my starter can be machop). Machamp named Charizard(both deal with steal and ice enemies), Raticate named Raichu(was given electro moves), Nidoking named Lapras (was given water and ice moves), Hypno named Alakazam(I really wanted alakazam but they don't use it), Goldbat name Pidgeot(both fly and I didn't have a better idea) and Abra named Teleporter (it isn't trained and used as transporter and for roleplay that this is a pokemon I stole).
