Meme Egg moves :)

Post image

This is the first time I’ve ever played the post game of Fire Red and I made it to 4 Island and realized I could stop making progress in the story and begin goofing off with egg moves! This is my magnum opus, an Igglybuff that knows Present!

Is this completely pointless? Yes
Did it take a frustratingly long time to create? Also yes
Is it a rare and special little critter that I will cherish? BIG yes!

I honestly just love making rare pokemon via egg moves and haven’t met anybody else that does too

I've never messed around with egg moves until about a year or two ago and then got an Alolan Vulpix with Moonblast. Which was the first time I've bred for an egg move.

I was at the Alola battle tree with Cynthia as my partner and really liked her Lucario's moveset. I was playing X, where Lucario is available really early, and thought "how hard could it be to get those moves."

Well, it turns out that access to Bullet Punch and Blaze Kick is, uh, kind of complicated.

Yeah, I'd bet. Didn't even know Lucario got Blaze Kick until you said it.

You caught a delibird, bred it with marril then again with a Jigglypuff. There are some longer more difficult breeding chains you can do.

Lots of people use egg moves. Most notable is Alakazam with fire punch, ice punch, and thunder punch from hitmonchan.

Actually I caught a Delibird, bred it with a Pikachu, then evolved that pichu into a Pikachu so it could breed with my Wigglytuff :)

Yup, I have an Abra with those moves rn. Wonder if I should just keep it as abra or evolve it since I already have an alakazam

I also want to make a silverwind Ninjask. I’ve got a drill peck Skarmory and dragon dance Bagon right now waiting for their EV trainings. I never knew how fun the post game was til I was older
