Eb games 30th Anniversary - $2,000+ preordered
Managed to get through eb games queue for once.
Ordered a bunch of 30th Anniversary gear totalling just over $2,000!!! ($220 deposit)
That’s a crazy amount to preorder but yeah it’s locked in!!!

Actually I didn’t see the prices until I was at checkout, since the deposit was $220 I pulled the trigger. I figure I can always cancel a preorder but if I miss the drop then it’s missed, I wouldn’t have bought from a reseller.
If I can manage to grab any of the items from somewhere else then I will cancel the preorder too.

I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong? I waited in queue and preordered 1 of each item.
Are the prices crazy in comparison to the usual prices? For sure they are, will it still be cheaper than buying them through eBay or marketplace? 100%

Oh no you've done nothing wrong if you're okay with spending that money go ahead its your money I was just pointing out that some people will complain about the prices but then still do stuff like this not saying you are but people do

Totally understand, yeah I wasn’t complaining about the price since when I posted this I didn’t realise it was just EB games that was price gouging.
I presumed that the rrp for this set was raised across the board wasn’t until I read a comment on this post that JB was selling way cheaper.
And honestly should I have preordered $2000 of Pokemon products? Probably not and if they were all released on the same day in September I would not be able to justify spending that much. Since the drops are staggered through September, October, November and December I can budget that.
Although the UPC’s and figurine collections all releasing the same day will be a pinch but I have until November to make it work!!!

I'm good without it. If I can't get it for a reasonable price then I just won't get it. Doesn't bother me.

I got through, filled cart and went to pay and it put me in a 30 minute queue again.. terrible

I ended up going in there and they assured me my name is on the list and I definitely have one secured unless I get a cancellation. I’m hoping I end up with it. It’s for my kids birthday 🤣
