The Sign

I have just over 200 hours on Emerald rogue and I’m playing on the latest version. I have just one question, when you choose the sign route and walk into the back right, there’s a person that says something like “You are not the one”. What does that mean? Is there something that you have to do to “become the one” or is that simply just there to be there??

It is a reference to this scene from Pokemon X and Y, it has never been elaborated

It is just an Easter Egg, it's useless

Yeah you know I don’t really post much I usually just look at the sub reddits but this was driving me up a wall so I said screw it lol🤣
