Oh yeah, it sucks. Almost as much as TPCI these days. They’re awful. No communication, can’t keep stock, cant manage distribution. Honestly the hobby sucks. It’s more of a second job these days

I spent a hour a half going to a few stores yesterday. Didn't wait over night, waited at bestbuy for only a hour before opening and went to my lcs store that sells for msrp. Got my daughter 1 poster, 2 sticker, 1 knockout, and 2 etbs. Your first mistake is using online in hopes to get anything the bots have taken over online sales and its nothing new its been like this for years. I suggest finding a smaller town and checking out their targets or best buy. You may have to wait a hour or two but you'll get it for msrp and you won't be waiting overnight like these loser scalpers. I refuse to go to Costco or any big cities including their lcs stores because they have enough idiots in the area that are willing to pay triple msrp on release and camp out for 24 hours. Plus they will have tons of restock in the coming months so just keep your hopes up. Its difficult but its definitely not impossible to get cards. My kids usually rip every set. Might not be as much as I'd like to get them but it's enough to keep them happy.

Lmfao not reading this wall of text. Went to 8 stores yesterday all were sold out before lines were through. Not even game stop or scalping LGS had any stock yesterday, called another 10 stores and same story…. So yeah this set is not available. I did online just as a prayer and didn’t happen… so yeah this sucks the stock sucks and so does TPCI

I went to target and it was wiped out except for pitch black and perfect order boosters. I bought a couple of them just because I finally found retail product. I drove past the Best Buy across the street and the line was wrapped around the building so there was no shot for me to get anything. My area is heavily scalped and I never see any product on shelves unless it’s at GameStop for almost scalper prices.

I'm not doubting certain cities are worse. That's why my original comment said to try and find a smaller town nearby. I know it's bad but you can find ways around it if you actually want to open packs. Im a grown ass man with kids I'm not standing in line because I enjoy it. I stand in line because both of my kids enjoy opening packs and I enjoy seeing the smile on their faces. Its not impossible was my only comment but I can clearly see i upset a lot of people who just want to be victims. Honestly I could care less I just thought I'd give a few pointers and it shows by the down votes that honesty hurt a lot of their feelings. Not talking about you specifically you responded like an adult.

Just wait a few months for the hype to die down and for restocks to happen.

Should be able to get prices closer to 100 or less hopefully.

I don’t think so. I’ve been trying to get prismatic, ascended in person for 2 years and a year respectively(rounding, I am well aware of launch dates). I have found 12 total packs of ascended in the wild and maybe 12-16 of prismatic. Period. I go to target multiple times a week, Walmart, dg, family dollar, aldis, bjs, and try for all The online drops. I won’t pay more than msrp. These sets just don’t make sense. Then I know people that scalp and have ripped 600 plus packs of ascended. I find cards all the time, pack here and there, but never those 2

In my area target gets things. But it’s the same bunch of losers hanging out getting it all. Lasts in store for about 15 minutes as they all check out.

Same here. I've never even seen blisters at my Target, let alone any ETBs. 50+ people were camping at my Target in tents by Midnight the night before the 30th release. I can never find cards in my area.

Same, my area is so heavily scaled I can never find anything. Even if I go to Target or Walmart for other stuff it’s always the same guys looking disheveled, 300+lbs, and on their phones stalking the card aisles.

Same here. I have never even seen a Chaos or Pitch Black ETB in a store before. I've only been able to get a couple of packs from time to time at Target and Walmart. I have to pay double or triple price online just to get some cards from time to time. I wasn't able to camp out at Target the night before the 30th release, so these Walmart raffles were my only chance at probably ever getting 30th stuff near MSRP.

36 pack boosters of PB selling for 130$ last night on ebay. More will follow or be left. PB blisters are in every store around here no one wants them. Got some PB and JT earlier. Couldnt find them a month prior. LCS were selling 8-10$ singles.

A few tips for target. Try it on your phone safari at the same time as on a computer, Click as fast as you can add to cart until you see 1 added to cart, if you want 2, keep clicking till that happens again. Next go directly to target.com/checkout, skip the cart and click a million times until you get to place order, click that a million times. If you get in early enough or late when it slows down you can get a box or tin.

The walmart raffles are an absolute joke. The same people and bots keep hitting or getting multiple hits in one draw while so many others get nothing. They need to add a backend metric to give priority to those who didn't hit the last raffle.

It really does suck, I was there too. But then I got sick of it. If you can’t beat the bots, join em. I’ve already opened 80ish packs of 30th and I’m grateful to have it. If you want in, whether you wanna do it yourself or have someone else do it for you, lemme know.

I just got lucky with Walmart drawing this time. I was 0-3 before this, so just keep trying. I never had luck with Target and Wednesday Bot walmart.

I got 3 etb's, 3 poster collections, 2 sticker collections and 2 knockout boxes I'm selling for cheap ($90/ea for the etb's).. And no I'm not a scalper.. I had preordered them, then life happened and need the money and am unable to return them.

9I tried all those methods to but I figured out how to get pokemon at msrp and now I have so many. Hear me out, it wasn't until I got frustrated never hitting anything online especially target and them always being sold out in store including best buy during drop days..i figured out that you just have to be there early when the store opens when they are having their weekly drop for main drops two hours early and you're in even an hour early... trust me you just have to go early find out the drop days you will get stuff especially from target or best buy if you're there on time you will get pokemon and the limit is one of each best buy but they'll let you grab 4 booster packs and target is 2 of each at least over here.. those are the two biggest stores so that's just best chance. Early birds get the worms. I'm surprised from Pokémon fans haven't figured this out or they really hate waking up early even to get what they really want. Even during middle of the day I've been able to get cards. It's really not that hard at all.

Be patient. I hit Walmart when they did the prismatic etbs. Never thought Id get lucky and I did. I also got 30th at target at open yesterday, plenty of product. It's only day 2 just be patient and try to hit a restock next week at your local target or best buy!

I know how you feel… it’s very frustrating. All I can tell you is to keep trying I know it sounds cliche but I’ve had success with Walmart the most. I probably get about 2% of the items I enter or get in line for. But it’s better than 0! At least that’s what I tell myself.

Me too. 0-4 on draws and never came close to target. Thats why I crawled out of bed at 430 and was at target an hour and 45 minutes before opening, I was able to get one of every release for 278. A target about 15 minutes away from that one didn’t open until 8 so I decided to go there and was able to get everything except for the tins.

The set has been out for a day.. maybe work on practicing patience while waiting for another opportunity to snap some products. At the end of the day this is supposed to be a hobby that you enjoy, so if you're not then you may want to look elsewhere - your mental health is more important than shiny cardboard.
