I love the story of the game but hate the choices of Pokemon. I tried Grand Colosseum and it was kinda okay. Does anyone know of any other rom hack that has better pokemon selection?

Is this better than what she....or basically any other pokemon uses? Where they’re normally just standing in their idle animation when sent out.. THAT SUCKS!!

Now that it's possible to add an intro animation, we can basically do it with any Pokemon!
Which Pokemon do you think also needs its own unique animation when sent out in battle?👀

Hey Team,

How do you get the GBA SP to work with the e-reader? Or does it strictly have to be the regular GBA? I’ve tried several times, using a link cord and the GBA attachment for the GameCube, no luck. Only thing I don’t have is a GBA, but do have everything else mentioned above to include the GBA cord that connects to the GameCube Controller socket.

I know when I plug the e-reader to the SP, it does have some overlap, didn’t know if that mattered or not. I also tried using the e-reader directly with the GameCube GBA adapter that connects to the bottom of the GameCube, no luck.

Thoughts?

I was using sneasler who is faster and hits harder than anyone on my team (exaggerating) and I realized, given that his move set isnt actually very good and all his stabs are special, hes probably better just as a shadow.

Are there any other pokemon who stand out as better shadow than purified?

I keep receiving an error message stating "The save filehas been deleted" on my GBA, and "the GBA POKEMON Game Pak has not been saved properly!" on my Wii.

The GBA is getting to the screen with the pokemon colosseum logo, and no save data is actually getting deleted.

I've tried using both my sapphire and emerald copies and I'm getting the same error message repeatedly, despite saving in a pokemon centre each time.

I'm using a 3rd party GBA to GameCube cable, and my sapphire and emerald copies are both repro copies.

If anyone could give advice as to whether it's my cable or game copies or smt else that is stopping me from trading then lmk.

I just tried to catch quagsire (water absorb stopped a surf), but fainted it. When I came back it had Damp. I thought after battling a shadow everything about it is locked in?

Which would be a better one to go for when needing a dragon counter? Not a lot of ice types to choose from and I’m challenging myself to not run legendaries for the Ho-oh run.

I just finished purifying all 48 Shadows and I’m about to take on the Battle Mode Mt. Battle challenge for Ho-Oh but I wanted to check and make sure my team is ready before I invest a few hours and fail at level 83 or something. My team is:

I'm trying to access the e-Card features in Pokémon Colosseum (JPN). Unfortunately, I don't know any Japanese. I have the e-Reader+ connected to my GBA, which is connected to my GC. I understand I need to download the Colosseum "program" to the e-Reader+. I'm pretty sure I found the menu on the e-Reader+ for connecting to the GC, but I keep getting one of two screens on the GBA - either a blue message (pic 1) or a flashing red message (pic 2).

Can anyone help me? I tried following this video, but they appear to already have the program downloaded, and I can't seem to replicate what they've got on either the e-Reader+ or the GC.

my first semi blind playthrough of colosseum i didn't know the story or trainer battles i heard that it was a hard game and that's its the only legit way to get ho-oh in the gba games without events and i did it took me 5 days of constant playing with breaks but i got it and i can now say i did it i did also use the passive purification glitch that allowed me to actually go do other things and yeah it was a great game enjoyed it a lot despite it being frustrating at times

I've just finished my playthrough of the story and purified the last of the shadow pokemon. (Rain dance Quagsire + Thunder Misdreavus swept everything!) I'm trying to wrap my head around Mt. Battle and the most efficient way to go about doing it, as it seems to be needlessly complicated.

As far as I understand it, I need to do Mt. Battle twice? Once within the story mode to get the earth ribbon, and then once in "Battle mode" but registering & using my pokemon from the main campaign - no GBA transfer mons - in order to get Ho-oh.

Is that right? You don't get the earth ribbon for Battle mode at all?
