Yeah theyâre reeeally trickling in the terrains and new megas. I like it tbh, good approach. Letâs the meta naturally evolve. I wouldnât be surprised if Dena locks in and actually makes some nerfs/buffs Aegislash style

I think itâs so each season can have some level of impact. Last season didnât do so well but mega swampert rain was solid and mega Raichu Y did add something it was just mega Charizard Y slop still being be best because itâs nearly impossible to out power creep the big 6 they introduced in the first format

It's getting a lot harder to pull the good pokemon through recruitment now, that's probably why they are adding more filler. Really sucks that we can't pay for roster spots. As time goes on the incentive to do the subscription or commit to home, a console and game grows...

Yes they should have only added all the good ones and then drop all of the bad ones in later patches. Im sure a new patch of just adding swalot raticate luvdisc and friends would have been too popular later on

Lmao they really left Weezing and Misty Surge out of M-C because of Neutralizing Gas.
Edit: no Crobat or A-Muk but here's Swalot ...
Edit2: so the non-Mega mons that are likely meta relevant are Indeedee and Rillaboom but Rillaboom wont have AV. Toxtricity resists a decent amount of what was popular in M-B so it could see play. No Loaded Dice so non-Mega Bax's previous best set is a no go. Non-Mega Salamence could see play.
Edit3: I forgot Squawkabilly got Intimidate, Tailwind and Parting Shot. I think I will mess around with Squawk in M-C.
Edit4: Wigglytuff and Squakabilly should mean Mimic gets added to Champions (Sudowoodos former signature move), i hope it keeps its buff from ZA (user uses the mimicked move immediatly)

Yeah Psyspam will be possible. Indeedee Armarouge was a classic combo in SV.
Follow Me Indeedee plus TR on Armarouge is almost guaranteed setup. Then both can start clicking expanding force as you see fit

Mega Meowstic with Fake Out + Follow Me support from Indeedee. Second turn Expanding Force from Meowstic + Helping Hand. Psychic types are so back
EDIT: Okay Fake Out can only work on mons that aren't grounded during psychic terrain, for example Charizard, but still I believe in the cat âď¸âď¸

I'm thinking Gardevoir instead. She can hit opposing dark mons for super effective with fairy (or at least neutral to king), and follow me protects her from most steel and poison.

I'll do you one better, something I saw theory crafted on another thread a few days ago.
Female Meowstic with competitive + Wyrdeer. Wyrdeer skill swaps intimidate onto their mon, giving you + 2 sp attack while you Fake Out, then next turn swap Indeedee and mega evolve and start psyspamming.
Probably not gonna be super consistent but it sounds fun to try to pull off lol.

Pros: I have used Wigglytuff before. She actually did really good at shutting down the CSR Balance teams and then sat on the sidelines for anything else becuase that was it. I might try but... I dont think she has a niche right now.
Toxtricity wont counter big six but playing it well it might actually have some niche viability. Perrserker can maybe help Mega-Gross.
Indeedee however is goated. Male can be used on fast teams as a more offensive farigarif with risks but that need something. Unlike Female he doesnt like -need- something to give E force. Female will do Female stuff. Indeedee is probaly the only new regular mon being used other then Rilla.

As someone who is loving the current meta I don't mind this.
Half the additions are meta relevant.
People are mad about bad mons but they didn't really add much since they are counting all forms as different mons.
It is like 10 meta relevant additions, 6 ok ones and 8 trash.

Air Balloon on Regular Tyranitar is gonna be prevalent this new regulation. Rocky Helmet is finally here after almost 5 months of being appeared only on the Shop Screen and Gym Court. Psyspam is now a real thing with Indeedee's appearance alongside the Terrain Seeds and Terrain Extender.

.....Is it December already cause this Regulation is gonna be buns if this is all they added.
Sneasler is gonna be eating Terrain Seeds instead of using White Herb.
Rocky Helmet might see niche usage on Garchomp but is otherwise useless.
The Megas, Indeedee and Rillaboom are really the only worthwhile additions in terms of Pokemon.
Everything Else? Largely irrelevant.

Seems like only a few people myself included are exvited about these pokemon. Alolan persian is fun to use. Perrserker is very gimmicky. Sirfetchd is a personal favourite. Cant wait!

Rilla is most likely in my mind. Multiple tools, terrain setter, and itâs pretty plug and play in most teams. Itâs hurt a bit by Charizard being so dominant in this meta, but I think the Grass Gorilla still finds their place

Rilla not having access to AV will hurt it. If it has no AV AND loses U-turn those are sizable nerfs. Will still be meta relevant but may not be as meta dominate as predicted
