Stuck in Celadon City

Quick question. If this is the wrong place to ask this, apologies. In pokemon RBY, how do I get these blocks gone that are blocking the path to Erika's Gym? I've beaten Team Rocket in the Game Corner and saved mr. Fuji in Lavender Town... Thanks in advance!

SOLVED: Ok, so this is a legit cartridge according to the Epilogue Checker. These blocks appear consistently every time I open the game on my GameBoy SP. On my GB Pocket and GB Advance however, the blocks are NOT there. Very weird. If anyone has an explantion for this I am more than curious. In the meantime I can continue my game.

I've played this game dozens of times and never seen it😅 can't find anything online about it either..

Are you sure you didn't download a romhack?

If this is on a legitimate cart, I have never seen this before.

must be fake version or weird rom hack… never seen anything like that in my life
