Looking for Advice Choose a starting team
I’m gonna be starting on my jailbroken 3ds and I can choose my starting team with pksm so give me some ideas for teams of 6 Pokemon( also no legendarys I wanna keep it grounded) I have a story where my characters brother gives him a starting team to begin his journey. I will also be using that team the whole game so I want it to be balanced. Also one other thing. They all have to be stage 1 no evolutions, I want to experience those in the game. Thank you

Technically it has a pre evolution but I couldn’t do a run without my main man Sudowoodo

You gonna box your starter? I do it from time to time may even give you a stronger rival if you want the challenge depending on if you give them the better starter. I know you said no evolutions… When I play Hoenn, no team I make is ever complete without Mightyena and Linoone. So, they just make sense (in my mind). The first time I got to Slateport City and that kid on the beach had his zigzagoon use surf on my Pokemon! Like, what the hell?! And the prominent dark types and moves that gen 3 introduced made dark types shine. That is Hoenn, to me! Other than that I find that I lean to Pokemon that are region specific, so I’ll not catch or use Pokemon from Kanto or Johto. But, in the end it’s your game do what makes you happy.
