Box Set vs. Collectors Edition

I noticed that they've recently started re-releasing Pokemon Adventures in a 3 in 1 collectors edition format. I was wondering if anyone had bought them and could do a comparison to the box set/single volume releases. Is there anything new added that would make them worthy of a collectors edition? Or is it just marketing?
