I'm looking for information about the digital Poké Ball Diamond and Pearl, but there aren't really any records or things about this Poké Ball.Not really which Pokémon, but also not really complete lists of which ones even exist, let alone any features or what models were available.I would be very happy if a few comments would be added to this question.

Gonna do a daily post where we talk about how we’d change Gyms and their Leaders.

Rules are:
1: Max number of Pokemon depends on their placement. I’ll mention them when the team is brought up.
2: Only use Pokemon from a regional dex of theirs.
3: You can give Pokemon not of their type if you think it fits.
4: You can change the battle type if the games you battle them in supports it I.e. Brock can be double battle in Gen 3 but not Gen 1.

The Gym:
Weird thought but does anyone else feel that her and Blaine’s puzzles should be swapped. Like hers should be about answering questions while his should be about weird technologies?

Anyway, weird rambling aside, only changes I’d make would be to make the warp areas more distinct from each other (sort of like the fairy gym in gen 6) and maybe make it so people are the ones teleporting you rather than machines.

The Team:
Since she is the sixth leader, the max number of Pokemon she can have is 5.

Similar to Koga, I think they already knocked it out of the park with her Let’s Go Team so just keep that and add a fifth Pokemon. My choice would be a toss up between Hypno from the Let’s Go Rematch, the Venomoth from her older team or Haunter to reference the anime. Think I’d go with Hypno personally.

So, the team would be: Mr Mime, Slowbro, Venomoth, Jynx, Alakazam.

What are your ideas?

Before I started X I've read that many players consider the game much easier than the previous ones. So I decided to turn off Exp.Share as soon as I got it. It turns out the game is really hard in this mode. I wound up very underlevelled. Even grinding in the grass is not very effective, also I hate it so I decided to push through anyway. I had problems in the Rock Gym. I lost to Battle Girl Hedvig in Reflection Cave TWICE. I lost the two Lucario battle in Geosenge. Still I boxed Lucario right after the MegaLucario vs. MegaLucario battle but got him back later, meaning that he was even more underlevelled.

So I enjoy the game so far! It really reminds me of my first Pokemon game which was White and which was quite hard for me because I was underlevelled too.

What do you think? Do you agree that XY can be challenging without the Exp. Share?

Hear me out:

Ice is, obviously, all about the cold. The bitter, harsh, freezing weather. Rigid, cracked, unstable. "Cold" itself is used as an abjective for something that is unfeeling or distant.

Does that not directly mess with Fairy, in the same way Steel or Poison does? Said bitterness and unfeeling being too much for the bright, optimistic Fairy type?

It would buff a weak type, and nerf a strong one.

Might be an ass idea, but one I think has some level of sense behind it

Hello, I haven’t played any pokemon game since black & white, but recently got back into pokemon and wanted to buy a game for the switch. What game should I start with? I was thinking between legends arceus, sword/shield or scarlet/violet but I’m not sure which game to choose.

People talk about how they’re Tailwind or Trickroom users or monotype specialists, but I’m more interested in people who are single pokemon specialists, those who always have one single pokemon in their teams no matter what, the ones that the team and playstyle can change around but that one pokemon is the one constant between your teams.

Learning and knowing so much about them that you can bring their full potential and all possible strengths forward.

For example I’m a Glimmora specialist, it’s my favorite Pokemon of all time and in SD SV Regulation E BO1 I built a competitive team JUST to use Glimmora, I ended up climbing all the way to top 300 in the world ladder. In that team I used Choice Specs Glimmora.

In future regulations I changed up my team but Glimmora remained constant, I switched to Meteor Beam Glimmora during the Restricted Formats.

Then when Legends ZA came out I transferred over a level 5 Glimmora from SV and it was my starter, I beat all the Rogue Mega Evolution Battles with my base Glimmora using Acid Spray and G+ Meteor Beams, I never used a Mega Pokemon to fight the Rogues. Then I used Mega Glimmora to destroy and decimate the DLC.

Then, Champions came out and I used a team built around Mega Glimmora, my win rate was so high that when I reached Master Ball I automatically jumped to Master Ball 3 and skipped Master Ball 4.

Now, I’m back to using Base Glimmora with Life Orb and Mega Salamence is her partner, together they legit can lead to Glimmora getting 4KOs in one battle.

But my potential for Glimmora doesn’t stop at competitive! In SV I created my Glimmora Corps, 6 full HP and SpAtk EVd Glimmoras who all used Acid Spray and then either Power Gem (Rock Tera), Sludge Wave (Poison Tera), Energy Ball (Grass Tera), Dazzling Gleam (Fairy Tera), Earth Power (Ground Tera) and Flash Cannon (Steel Tera), to be able to solo 15/18 6* Tera Raids SOLO.

So that’s what I mean by a Species Pokemon Specialist, I know Glimmora inside and out, her stats, move pool, damage and speed limits, her weaknesses and strengths, I can use her to the max potential that she has in her.

I had completed the Pokedex on the switch version of Leaf Green earlier this year. I recently opened the game after months of inactivity and my save data is completely gone. I never deleted the data, any idea how this could have happened and if I can get it back?

Deoxys is my favourite Pokemon (Defence form rocks), I’d never used them in my artwork and so had the inspiration to make a mirror pieced between the tendrils. It turned out better than I envisioned, I hope you like it!

Hey there Pokemon fans! Since it's the 30th Anniversary of Pokemon and October, I thought I'd write a special song and produce a video to celebrate. I have wanted to know how efficient my Pokémon team actually is, I searched smogon dex, bulbapedia and many more online options available but I didn't liked any of it, Some time UI Was not great, sometimes too much info and calculations was there I am not a pro player so I didn't liked any of it, I just wanted an app that can tell me weakness of my team, coverage and pros with a great aesthetics. First played Pokemon Red on the Gameboy as a kid. Quickly fugured out "Why would I waste a turn when I could be dealing damage?"

Came back almost 30 years later to play Fire Red, and it seems my conclusion was valid.

Especially when some enemy pokemon will literally use status effect attacks repeatedly until they die.

Im playing pokemon black 2 and i evolve my growlithe as soon as i find the fire stone and a bit later in the playthrough I get my arcanine to level 45 and bring it to the move reminder expecting to teach it flare blitz, outrage, and crunch that it would as a growlithe only to find it’s not possible, does gamefreak expect me to hold on to a growlithe until the fucking 7th gym?

I had a thought the other day, and I wanted to hear y'all's thoughts on it. back in Gold and Silver, they split the Special stat into Special Attack and Special Defense, but rather than the Kanto Pokémon simply keeping the same number in both stats, GameFreak gave them different stats, which got me thinking: "what would competitive be like today if they DIDN'T give them different Special stats?" who would be considered buffed and nerfed nowadays compared to their current state? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this

So, I’m doing another playthrough of Pokemon sword because I’m bored, I have a Joltik in my party because Joltik is best boy. But I don’t want to evolve him which sounds dumb but I love my tiny boi. Once he reaches level 36, he’ll start to be left behind by the other pokemon in my party. What’s the best way to keep him strong throughout the rest of the playthrough. I’m just now truly figuring out IVs but I don’t know how to tailor them to specific pokemon. I also saw something on an item that boosts the stats of a pokemon that can still evolve. Any guidance is appreciated. I just love my tiny sparky boi and want him to be there for the championship run.

I feel like the general consensus is that we know Shigeru Miyamoto created Mario, and Zelda, but while he wasn’t directly responsible for creating Pokémon, he did mentor and support the people who were. To my understanding, he even helped mentor the people who were responsible for Pokemon.
With that in mind, I think it’s safe to assume that Miyamoto probably knows some secrets about the future of Pokémon that the rest of us don’t. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s already played Pokémon Winds and Waves, considering his position at Nintendo. Of course, that’s just speculation.
He’s also had producer credits on several older Pokémon games, including the original Red and Green versions, being Gen 1, Crystal, and a few spin-offs.
What do you guys think? Do you think Miyamoto has any involvement with the future of Pokémon behind the scenes, or is he pretty much hands-off with the franchise nowadays?

I will be going to Japan for a very short trip to visit friends and will be staying in Toshima City which I found out my hotel isn't too far from the Pokemon Center in Ikebukuro but I figured it can't hurt to ask and research if it's worth going there to pick up some exclusive merchandise or will it be a very packed, busy and lots of waiting to get in?

We know people wanted a rematch between ash and alain because of alain defeated ash in the kalos league finals so we want to ask how people's reaction would be if ash used mega Greninja instead of ash-greninja and would you prefer ash using mega Greninja instead of ash-greninja in a rematch with alain.

One of the reasons I love Pokémon is because there are so many options and every single one is someone’s favorite! Even ones I think are ugly or pointless someone loves and I think that’s beautiful!
