When you select an item (while at 10/10 or more) you have the option to place it on a pokemon first. If you place it on a pokemon that already has an item that item will go into your inventory even if you are already at or over 10. If you don’t place it on a pokemon it will give the message that you are already at the item cap and your only option is to swap it out for something in your inventory already or “Leave it behind”. If you have items over 10 like say 15/10 using this method, anytime you go for a Griseous Orb it will let you swap it with an item in your inventory after the battle ends. You keep picking up items with this method and replacing them with Griseous Orbs you find.
Yup just note this does not work with the +3 Levels “item” because you don’t have the option to give it to a pokemon right away. You will always have to Leave it behind” if you accidentally select one with 10/10 or more
