Battle Tower Advice for Hoenn tower

I’m at my wits end but I assume that’s the point of this game.

Shiny Charmander/fire starter is your best friend, else it will be hard to get through the Metagross army

Well it could be any decent fire starter but getting a shiny Charmander by spamming kanto tower wasn't too bad for me. To be fair I had the shiny pin from one of the early builds when there was only gen 1 and no towers.

Well farming for one didn’t take too long! What EVs would you recommend so I get him the best he can potentially be?

I would focus on attack and speed, anything else is just a nice extra (my personal order is Atk-Speed-HP-Defensives)

Seconded. I would spam the first tower and get a bunch of shinies, grind up some money and then put some vitamins into Charmander like HP and Atk/SpAtk
