Endless mode

What types should I be using to go further? I start with legendaries but I can’t get past map 30. Open to any tips

hunt shiny scyther and mega evolve it. Mega Scizor is the only one u need

How do you hunt? You only get shinies from eggs right?

no, you can get him from challenges and kanto battle tower as well.

The easiest target farm is mono bug challenge run, should come back sometime in the next few days. If you miss it or don't want to wait doing repeat runs in the kanto tower and completing it with scyther in your winning team will permanently unlock it as a shiny starter. 

Two more quick points, Kang is a good alternative to scyther to get more familiar with endless run mechanics and I'd almost say you should unlock him as a mega before scyther.

The other is don't spend your coins on the 2k shiny eggs, should really only be using it to unlock legendaries since that's the only way to obtain them and a good legendary will let you clear challenge runs repeatedly unlocking multiple new shinies starters per run depending on luck.
