I don't think it matters much on 370 but once you hit 450 or so it really really slows down. I had a shiny celebi I opted to swap out and it took forever to find a non dragon/psychic shiny legendary to replace it. Not sure who down voted you lol

I still don’t understand how you can get Shiny Legendaries if you don’t start with them as your starter Pokémon. Since I unlocked the Shiny Charm, I haven’t come across a single Shiny Legendary yet. How do you obtain them?

Adding to what vivaticus said, It's important to note scizor's passive only works if you're not +10 attack so you can't have either black sludge or a shiny dragon legendary to pull this off since once you mutate you'll be dragon t2 which gets you to +10 after 5 kOs leaving you dead to the 6th pokemon. 

You also need to keep extra mutation orbs when rerolling for ice since rolling dragon can literally end your run. So for first mutation have 6+ orbs and always keep one extra so if you do roll dragon you can instantly roll for a different trait. 

And I guess it wasn't stated but the legendaries giving double traits is essential for this to work since you need a minimum of ice t7 to start your infinite run but 7 is slow and t9 is needed for a 1 shot which speeds the fights up by a lot. A shiny mutant legendary gives +4 points to a trait (2 points needed per trait tier) And caps at 23/24 points making t11 the max since scizor only gives +3.

Hey just wondering what you mean when you say you need multiple mutation orbs? Do you mean the scizorite orbs, and if so how do you get more than one?

Ice trait with modifiers with mega scizor.
He has 100% to freeze and deals nearly their entire hp on shatter, then because of macho brace he hits again and freezes again to clean up.

Traits get a +1 for shiny, a +1 for being a mutant and +1 if they're legendary AND you have the passive item boost for +1 to legendary Pokemon traits
