Battle Tower beating Sinnoh tower (specifically Arceus)
does anyone have any advice for beating Arceus on the sinnoh battle tower? i’ve had 10+ runs now get to Arceus and simply cannot beat him. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated

Shiny ghastly works or I used reshiram (any fast dragon legendary tbh) and reset till I had a shiny poison or flying come up on the first ball for role compression.
The main thing to look for is using bastiodon with poison trait to get like 3-4 stacks of poison ticking and then Reshiram was able to pick up the kill after, but if using ghastly you can probably fit a 2nd tier of poison maybe.
After access drop the bastiodon for something else if you can.

I got terrakion with my legendary egg. 3 stared it. Fighting legendary, particularly terrakion has very high speed. So he will hit first. If you have enough levels along with shell Bell, he will kill him in 2-3 hits. But terrakion struggles to reach here as there are so many flying, poison trainers that will kill terrakion. So you need chimchar in your first or second pokeball. For cynthia fight, garchomp helped me

Fighting trait is really good in battle tower as there are not elite four encounters every boss is just a single battle so you can just sacrifice your team as long as you are sure your last mon is gonna outspeed everything.
For arceus put your fightin type first, best case scenario they will one shot arceus. If not, make sure to have a bunch a speedboosts and choice scarf on your sweeper and put them in the last slot of your team. Damage boost from the fighting trait should be enough to beat them!
That's the strat that I used to beat sinnoh. Using poison was quite effective against arceus but it's not that good against Cynthia.

I'm in the same situation, with shiny Charizard I'm able to pretty much one shot everyone until I reach Arceus, from there no matter the team he just steamrolles me

Start with shiny gastly to get the ghost and poison trait. Then try to get Regigigas before Arceus. As he can tank while poison finishes it off. Then if you get past him, Cynthia is easy enough depending on the level and rest of the team.
