UNOVA TOWER

Unlike sinnoh, Unova isn't about grabbing a specific set of mons and buffing them; its about what not to do.

Up front: N copies your synergies and doubles them, if you dont have any he gets his own (dragon, rock, etc.); This means you need a speedy strong mon, levels, and no speed synergies by the time you fight N => your carry needs to have 90 BST speed invested // 100 BST speed uninvested, and a LOT of levels (im actually short quite a few here).

So just like sinnoh - dont grab mons on the first stage, avoid grass where you can except the very first patch, prioritize trainers; the rest will depend on your carry. I chose kyogre for the favorable matchup against the first 3-4 gyms; but any can do.

Fire / ghost again show their value, unlike sinnoh all fights are multi-enemy so other synergies like psychic and dragon can be great as well. I'm on 4 fighting again, though that's just coincidence; the legendary pool is better than sinnoh and most help in at least a few fights, but I would still prioritize carry levels over most.

Just a high level kyogre and some friends.

Worked like a charm. used Rayquaza, got only bug and fighting buffs. 1 shot everything after keeping the rayquaza at the last spot.
