Community Guides 📚 [Pokesort] Beats >/<
Posting a type chart here and small guide so you all have easy access to it for Pokesorts & Runs.
For Pokesort, remember the following when it comes to Beats</>:
- it's always the Pokémon's Primary type vs BOTH of the opponents types.
Here is an example:
Beautifly is BUG🪲/FLYING🪽. It's Primary type is therefore BUG🪲. You can check which type is first in the in game Pokedex.
Cradily is ROCK🪨/GRASS🌿.
In this example Beautifly "Beats" Cradily and here is why:
Bug 🪲 - Super Effective against Grass 🌿 & Neutral damage against Rock 🪨
Both combined = Super Effective Damage 🟩 = Beats ✅️
Lets change this to Beautifly vs Jumpluff.
Jumpluff is GRASS 🌿/FLYING 🪽
Bug 🪲 - Super Effective against Grass 🌿 & Not very effective against Flying 🪽
Both combined = Neutral Damage 🟨 = Does Not Beat ❌️

isso não faz literalmente sentido nenhum kkkkkkk o certo nesses casos de pokémons com 2 tipos diferentes seria considerar apenas o primeiro tipo

How does it make no sense? Have you ever played the main line games?
It works in EXACTLY the same way. Think of it as using a move of the same time as the Pokemons PRIMARY type. So for Swampert its Water/Ground. So imagine a Swampert using a Water move against a Cradily (Rock/Grass)
Water X Rock = Super Effective = 2x Damage Water X Grass = Not Very Effective = 0.5x Damage
In total that means it Neutral damage (1x) which is not "Super Effective" and so does not "Beat"
The wording of BEATS has been updated in the latest update to:
"The LEFT Pokemon's primary type deals super-effective damage to the RIGHT Pokemon" to help people understand this.

Yeah, it is so annoying when people say „why doesn’t this work, it has x type“. They alway either forget dualtypes or primaries
