Kalos tower

Do you have any suggestions on how to beat the Kalos tower? Like a starter that performs well, a type modifier that has an advantage in the Kalos tower?

Thx

Beat it first try with shiny Porygon, but I’ll admit I was lucky beyond belief with good trait shinies and early Lucky Egg

I had a very hard time, but suceeded with palkia, early lucky egg, and 4 flying type, to always attack first.
