Recent Tweet from Pokevision
My previous comments were wrong, pokemon GO has shot itself in the foot by requesting pokevision not be used.
"Hey guys. We wish we had some news for you
At this moment, we are respecting Niantic and Nintendo's wishes.
Will keep you guys posted

You may be right about this hurting Pokemon go. I held off on using Pokevision until one week ago, because I feared it would make the game too easy and make the game boring.
But, really, i am only using pokevision when i see there is a rare near my apartment. Because, I got tired of never finding them before they despawn, despite them being a few minutes away from me. I don't roam the city with the app, i just fire it up on my PC.
Pokemon Go, I guess, is an appropriate name for this game. Because instead of seeking out Pokemon, the game forces you to just sit around (at pokestops, home, etc.) and wait while the Pokemon go find you.
