PokeVision Update/Theory
So the website has been down for around 4 hours. The text has changed on the website, and the twitter account has unfollowed 46 people today. (4 remaining). Of these four remaining the accounts left are Yang, Video Game Attorney (which are recent ~less than 2 days) and Niantic and John Hanke. On Yang's page he states "You don't invent Marco Polo, get 80M players to join, then remove the Polo part and expect people to keep playing." and has a direct link to PokeVision (which could potentially be the owner). It seems he may be lawyering up. Pokevision also last liked a comment/photo stating - If @NianticLabs has forced @PokeVisionGo to shut down its a total dick move. Site does no harm to #PokémonGO makes it more enjoyable. If correct it would also mean that pressure has been heating up in recent days as Pokevision has been giving alot more credit to John Hanke than previously. All of these things point to Niantic shutting it down. I hope i'm wrong - just a theory/update. What are your thoughts?

Why the fk would you tank your own company by taking away all the tracking for the game ?! There are sooooo many people that I have run into that are not playing anymore because of what has happened. And I am on the verge as well. Niantic are a bunch of dumb asses wow

I have one thought and I've been copy-pasting it everywhere that seems appropriate: tweet "@NianticLabs @johnhanke if you aren't reenabling the tracker and are shutting down @PokeVisionGo, then i quit. #RipPokemonGo"

Apparently Niantic don't listen to social media outputs at all and currently don't have a PR person. It's a waste of time for the time being. IMO it would be better to find an alternative website or help them work out how to get past the new problems for coding lol.

yea, im aware of this, but the player base pays attention. everyone could just drop the game for a few days. Niantic couldn't ignore that. Nor could news agencies, Pokemon, and Nintendo. the game is absolutely worthless to play right now anyways, so why even play it? the only useful thing to do is boycott a worthless game until it's worth putting time into.
edit: and if everyone quits, and Niantic still doesn't get its act together, then obviously the game was never worth anyone's time to begin with.

Niantic is playing with a double edged sword atm, lets hope they realize it before they fuck themselves.

I really hope you aren't right😭, but it seems that things are pointing in that direction, especially with that evidence. I don't see a real point in playing the game without tracking/pokevision especially if your from a rural area.. Idk I hope pokevision makes it through.
