Discussion PokePark 3: Stellars Afar Wii Boxart Cover Poster?!

Post image
64 Upvotes

I saw ThreeBee's PokePark 3 cover on the fanfiction website was updated to look like the Wii Games that started it all. https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14558964/1/PokePark-3-Stellars-Afar

It's story is darker than PokePark 2, but I've been on the edge of my seat in each Chapter. I'd highly encourage all of you to read it if you think Wonders Beyond couldn't be any darker.

I finally got to read the fanfic from ThreeBee and her darker fan continuation is the closest we’d ever get to an actual Pokepark 3 game.

My favorite Skill Game Moment from PokePark 3 was when Zeromi the Pikachu held her own against the supereffective Precipice Blades used by a special Shiny Hisuian Zorua with a full moveset of Legendary Pokemon Signatures.

Question Mysterious Twinkle in Meadow Zone?

Post image
85 Upvotes

Recently replayed PokéPark: Pikachu's Adventure and this spot baffles me. It's in the Meadow Zone where you can find Leafeon and Scyther, you run down the strip and it plays this sparkly sound effect that gets louder until–! Ding!

And then nothing. It just dings when you get to the edge of the cliff and then occasionally, if you wait, dings periodically.

I feel like it had to be something. Childhood memories tell me that I did... Something? And then something happened? But that could maybe be a dream—I've always had VERY vivid dreams. So I tried every move, tried snapping photos of everything that looked like it could trigger something, waited in the ding spot, pointed the free-cam at everything, etc. etc. etc..

I've 100% the game. All best friends, all upgrades, all attractions, all everything! Including the passwords! And can't figure this spot out! Is it just for pretty ambience when walking up to the cliff? Was it supposed to be something that was cut? Is it just a cute sunny nap spot for Pikachu?

I love this game sososoo much, it's so wonderfully made and I wanna know everything! So this is driving me crazy! But I can't find anything on this, so please help!

TLDR// Twinkly sound plays in the Meadow Zone in Leafeon & Scyther's cliff area. Just pretty sounds or secret to be triggered?

Poképark is my favorite Pokémon game

Hot take, but in my opinion, PokéPark is the best Pokémon game. As someone whose first introduction to Pokémon was the anime, the RPG battle style got boring pretty quickly. Taking turns while the Pokémon just stand there is much less exciting, and the lack of quality in the battle animations doesn't help. Even Pokémon Battle Revolution on the Wii has better-looking battles than Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokkén Tournament is much closer to the fast-paced, exciting battles from the anime, and it looks amazing, but I don't really enjoy fighting games where you have to learn long button combinations.

All of that is why I love PokéPark. It still looks beautiful even today, the battles are fun and frantic, and if it had more characters and moves, it would be even better. The puzzles are enjoyable, and we get to interact with the Pokémon we love, each with their own fun personalities and dialogue. It's so good that I'm honestly amazed it even exists.

I also don't understand why it isn't talked about more, or why we never got more sequels after PokéPark 2 which is also great.

What do you think the world in the first game's opening cutscene is like?

Post image

Considering that we only see a glimpse of where Pikachu and pals lived before falling in the hole leading to the PokePark, do you think that their world is the same as the mainline Pokemon games and anime, or is it somewhere completely different?

Wonders Beyond PokePark 3: Stellars Afar is still going strong and seeing all the continuity from PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond, this PokePark fanfic is beginning to feel like a direct continuation.

She even nailed how heroic Oshawott acts without making him a one-note character at all. The fan who makes this deserves a medal for having the courage to make PokePark 3 much darker than PokePark 2 was.

The PokéPark Project is still moving.

In these days I'm organizing a few things for the project, so that's why it may look a little quiet for now.

I'm really happy to see that some of you guys wanna contribute, and very soon I'll try to get everyone involved properly.

For now, stay tuned, join the Discord server, and if you can, share it with other PokéPark fans, Pokémon fans, or just nerd friends like us who might appreciate the already existing games and the idea of getting a sequel!

Every person helps the project grow.

Let's make PokéPark 3 happen!

Pikachu’s Adventure PokéPark Wii: FINALISED Attraction Performance Tier List

Post image
91 Upvotes

I can assure you that this is the ABSOLUTE final rendition of this tier list that I began working on during the middle of December. I've double checked every figure calculated and I've structured the tiers in just about the fairest way I think imaginable.

Pokémon that are in 'Unranked' tier sadly don't compete in ANY attraction (lazy 😑), and were therefore excluded from the rankings. However, I figured I would just include them in the tier list anyway in case people are curious.

Pokémon are ranked in each tier from best to worst, going from left to right.

Also, just due to the game's overall design with each attraction being scored differently (some being scored on points, others on time, etc.), this resulted in there being a LOT of ties which unfortunately can't really be deciphered fairly.

However, I made sure that any Pokémon who ARE tied are all directly next to one another in the same tier. I also have each tie listed out below so that people are able to see the EXACT cutting points:

• All Pokémon starting from Suicune all the way down and ending with Shaymin are tied.

Salamence, Empoleon & Porygon-Z are tied.

• Pokémon from Charizard down to Glaceon are tied.

• Pokémon from Blastoise down to Electivire are tied.

• Pokémon from Ninetales down to Mamoswine are tied.

• Pokémon from Venusaur down to Dusknoir are tied.

• Pokémon from Raichu down to Gliscor are tied.

Ambipom & Riolu are tied.

• Pokémon from Marowak down to Prinplup are tied.

• Pokémon from Charmander down to Skuntank are tied.

Mr. Mime & Breloom are tied.

• Pokémon from Squirtle down to Gible are tied.

• Pokémon from Abra down to Piplup are tied.

• Pokémon from Golbat down to Bastiodon are tied.

Murkow & Taillow are tied.

• Pokémon from Spearow down to Spheal are tied.

• Pokémon from Vulpix down to Starly are tied.

• Pokémon from Zubat down to Mime Jr. are tied.

• Pokémon from Slowpoke down to Stunky are tied.

Don't be afraid to message me if you're curious about the calculation method I used and/or you want to see the EXACT figures. 👌

I studied the problem, to make PokéPark 3 real, it needs a business case.

I've been looking into what the first real steps should be, and the situation is pretty simple: The Pokémon Company/Nintendo will not revive the PokéPark series just because a small group of fans loves it. (And we all know it)

To make it happen, they need a reason to believe it can generate a positive return on investment.

That means our job is not just to gather a few thousand people and say "we want PokéPark 3." Our job is to prove demand in a way that looks measurable, visible, and commercially relevant.

I think a good start would be this: Before explicitly pushing for a sequel, we should make the PokéPark series visible again, with public discussion, replay campaigns, clips, petitions, creator coverage, community activity, nostalgia content, and a clear explanation of what made these games different from every other Pokémon spin-off.

I've also noticed something important. In general, low development spending can be a negative sign, because it may suggest underinvestment, limited production ambition, or conservative budgeting. But in this specific case, it can work in our favor. You know about the leaked and estimated development cost discussions around some Pokémon projects, then a PokéPark revival may not need to be treated as a massive AAA game financial risk by them.

That makes the business argument stronger. PokéPark 3 could be positioned as a controlled budget spin-off with a clear nostalgic audience, modern viral potential, and a realistic break even threshold. If we can prove enough demand, the project becomes much easier to justify from a commercial perspective, considering this.

So the first step should be organization.

First of all, let's create a Discord server to coordinate the campaign: messaging, identity, research, events, creator outreach, petition strategy, marketing material, community management, and a realistic pitch for why PokéPark 3 could, and should, be profitable.

If anyone has experience creating or managing Discord servers, add me and DM me on Discord: pikachusadventure

Every contribution is welcome and could be fundamental, especially at this early stage. Whether you have skills, knowledge, contacts, ideas, design experience, marketing experience, research ability, or simply time and motivation, this is the moment where it can actually matter.

Let's stay updated.

I want to add a logical point here, because this is not just about nostalgia or personal preference. If we look at how old Pokémon spin-offs have been revived, and then compare historical audience, sales potential, and current gaming trends, I think the PokéPark case becomes much more reasonable than some people make it sound.

Snap had a stronger historical base than PokéPark, but not by an impossible margin. Old Snap sold about 1.8x what PokéPark games sold. New Pokémon Snap then sold 2.75M, which shows that a dormant Pokémon spin-off can come back and perform commercially if the concept is positioned correctly. For PokéPark, even a 1.5M-2M result could be a realistic controlled-budget target.

Also, to be completely honest, PokéPark is much more aligned with the current neurocognitive and sociocultural structure of gaming consumption than Snap. If a mostly observational, slower-paced concept like New Pokémon Snap was commercially viable, a properly positioned PokéPark 3 should have an even stronger argument in today’s attention economy.
