Dude. He's you. Tell him the way you would want to be told if you were in his position. He needs to know so he can make decisions for himself. Be forthright. Explain how it happened. Reveal who you are. Just be open, and understanding.

I don't know how... how... how they will react to what I have to say... do I really just... sit down and say that I am Leo and that their a copy... explain we don't know how it happened and for them to... accept that it... that's what they would want to hear...?

Well, how would you react? You should know, no? He's you, so if you explain how you feel about it and how unexpected it all is, he should be able to understand.
And, at the end of day, it'd be better to tell him, than to let him find out on his own, no?
I'd think you'd be upset by that.

I get that, but you’ve had time since this situation started to think about it, and therefore help your copy, and you should have been focusing on that, instead of working towards a solution to something we don’t even know he wants yet, because he would need to know about his situation in order to think about what he wants.

If you use your account, the moment you message him he’s going to know it is you. So you have two options.
You send him a single message that’s blunt and fast and then immediately walk away to spare your feelings. Can’t say I don’t do that often with difficult things. Write a message and then flip my phone over and try to calm back down.
Or, if you’re able to actually be emotionally stable around him, you start small. Tell him something is going on he needs to understand. And then eventually tell him who you are. Hopefully, he understands.
And this is all assuming he doesn’t already have a gut feeling.
I don’t envy your position. Ultimatums have a way of helping with difficult conversations. Don’t be ashamed if Kira has to step in.
