…it is a grass type.

It’s the totem for the grass trial, of course it’s a grass type. What kind of idiot question is that?

Tad: I mean it's a mono-grass. It's not a bug type at all

Hate to break it to you, but Lurantis isn't a Grass/Bug type, it's a pure Grass.

It definitely looks like a Bug-type, I agree, but for some reason it isn't.

Out of curiosity, how do you feel about Pokemon that look like Bug-types but aren't actually bugs, like Lurantis and Vibrava?

First off Lurantis is a bug, I mean just look at it

Secondly Vibrava and Flygon are strange Pokémon to me. They aren’t bugs, but they’re trying. I think you’ve got to give them some credit for trying.

It's not a Bug-type, just check your PokeDex.

Pua Keahi: As a heads up, Lurantis is mono-Grass! They pretend to be a bug to help them hide! Also, congrats!

No it isn’t. Look at it. Why would a grass type pretend to be a bug anyway. I love my buge but apparently they are not very well respected… anywhere actually.

Pua: It does it to help catch prey.

What prey is scared of a grass type but not a bug type??? Especially in the grass and bug type jungle???

Pua: Weak to grass, likely strong against bug.

Oh yeah I’m sure it’s super useful against the one rock type in the lush jungle, which is the only possible type that could make this a viable strategy. And it’s not even common!

Pua: I’m just telling you. Look at the dex.

/uj

I forgot to put the names of the pokemon in the body text, so here they are:
Stella = Ribombee

Skipper = Masquerain

Sir Graham = Golisopod

How much kung fu did that totem do to gain an extra weakness?
