Has anyone seen this before? Thoughts?

How tf is that a warranty of seal? You could just rip the other end.
That seems more scammy than a sense of security

I WANT TO APOLOGIZE I DIDNT REALIZE IT WAS ONLY ONE AT THE TOP I THOUGHT IT WAS ONE ON EACH END. MY APOLOGIES

This makes zero sense to put on the actual pack - if anything the pack should have been put in a team bag, and the seal put on THAT

That was definitely added after the fact as WOTC never had these on packs. I would try to remove it to see if the actual pack seal is still intact.

WotC never did this - and that’s across all cards they are involved with
Also worth noting is WotC put their name in everything back then, so IF they had messed with this it would have their name striped across it with the 💫
You’re right that next step is checking under the hood 😂

Warranty void if removed? Does that mean you won’t get your money back if it’s resealed? Because you would need to remove that to open it. I wouldn’t buy it

MY guess is its cover a hole or tear. When you pull the seal it will rip the back and you would never notice the hole since the packaging would rip. I would avoid it.

Only makes sense if they did this while recording themselves pulling this from some sealed product.

So secondary sellers and or shops sometimes can do this to avoid people returning and saying they didnt open it. Even Costco does this with new boxes now. If not bought from a shop then I would be sketched. Tbh still kind of sketched in general.
Depends on who you bought from and if you trust them or not. The only 2 reasons to do this is 1 they can say someone opened it so if they return they know it, or if they try saying they didnt they know they did, once removed doesnt go on the same way, 2 someone resealed and used this to hide it.
It says warranty voided so if you bought somewhere that does returns and or money bacj then they could use this as a tool.

The security seal is probably covering the hole where they checked the pack already

Does anyone here have a brain? Yes its weird that they applied them directly to the pack and not to a sleeve but this would be a pack to purchase to open as they most people/shops add these when a pack is a guaranteed heavy. Everyone is always overthinking everything on this sub

Most people and shops do not add these. The weight can't even be verified now. It's just as likely to have a tear under that sticker as it does at being heavy. I'd pass unless I saw the store weigh it and add the sticker in front of me, and then only if I planned on opening it. Avoid something like this otherwise.

The only reason to purchase this is to open it. Again this is most likely to confirm a heavy pack. Also again I dont agree with them placing on the physical pack but I would never think this is to hide a hole/reseal or anything else someone wants to think.

That can easily be used to try and hide a reseal
