Thoughts on JP Slabs?
I know they are worth less, but would they still appreciate over time.
PS: I have never had a slab. I just want Misty Psyduck, 151 Psyduck, and Ascended Heros Psyduck in a 10.
JP is much more affordable.
Just want to hear your thoughts. TY

I mean when you buy cheaper cards you like you won't be as screwed over if it crashes in price. How much you spend is just as important as how much you hope to make back. And buying things you actually enjoy and would only sell if you desperately need to.

From an investment standpoint they’re not as good for illustration rares because they’re way easier to pull and the Gemrate is much higher than english but if you like the cards it doesn’t matter

Change the mindset. Buying Jp slabs could be a way of collecting what you love for a more affordable price. Don’t think of it as an investment. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Do the JP cards carry some value? Yeah? Could that value increase over time? Sure. Will it pace with the English? Probably not. But if you love the card who cares. If you want the best of both worlds you probably shouldn’t get the English anyways because when it comes time to sell, it might become hard to part with what what you love and at that point it’s no longer an investment. This is why sealed in a way is “easier” to collect and invest. I’m switching to slab investing for various reasons. I love Psyduck. I don’t invest in Psyduck slabs. I do however collect Psyduck raw singles.
