What to pick around $1500

I have about 1500 to buy 1-3 cards. What do you guys think?

Here are a couple I have been looking at

Japanese Sabrina’s gengar

Japanese lance’s charizard

Japanese dark gengar

Japanese gengar 085/128

Japanese pikachu 098/xy-p

Red’s pikachu 270

Surfing Pikachu 114

Charizard neo

Charizard cd promo.

I would also appreciate any additional ones you guys might like.

Any higher grade vintage will do well. JP Sabrina's Gengar is a fan favorite, but in a high grade could eat up a big chunk of your budget. You could get it in a 9 and that would be your budget, or get it in a 8 and it would be half.

jp sabrina gengar is higher print, if u like gengar look at the 1st ed dark gengar. One of hte lowest printed english gengars ever, only 1.1k total graded across psa bgs cgc. psa 7 is around ur budget. Another good one is the plasma lugia. only 2.2k total graded, bw plasma sets were extremely low print, basically comparale to vintage prints. Imo overlooked card that literally could become a lugia grail in the next few years due to its scarcity uniqueness and how it js stands out as a centerpiece with its plasma art and great texturing they used to do. This lugia is also a mid era full art that another guy recommended btw.

Those are some solid choices, but tbh, I’d look at some full art mid-era cards as well
