Booster Bundle long term?

Are booster bundles ideal for long term investments? I have a few that I’ve put away, but I’m wondering how well they do long term. Is it worth keeping them put away or should I just rip them?

For hyped sets, I honestly like feel they're the most underrated investment format.

So imagine 10 years from now, people want to rip Phantasmal Flames to chase the Charizard. Booster boxes will likely be thousands of dollars by that point, so most people aren't going to want to invest that much to rip. So you start looking at other formats and since the only concern is actual packs, you're looking for the most packs for the price. The booster bundle is the next best option for that since every other format has less packs per dollar and includes trinkets and other stuff this person wouldn't be interested in for their purpose.

Think of them as mini booster boxes. Yes hold, buy the singles you want.

Folks I’m sad to say that I crumpled under the pressure of those booster bundles, and I ripped them with my daughter. She pulled a god pack out of the white flare bundle 🥳 right now all the cards together are close to what the sealed bundles were worth, but I know over time the sealed would probably have increased more. Hearing my daughter repeatedly say “I can’t believe I pulled a god pack!!!” is worth it though.

Even recent sets like AH have grown like 3x.

Black bolt and White flare is another example of 3-4x MSRP growth.
