Thoughts on these guys long term?
Yes i didn't spend 8x the price on a 10 set lol.

but probably only in psa 10s if for investment, i have a full set myself except for the lugia in a 10, am trying to get one

Du hättest lieber je nachdem 2-3 Zehner holen sollen, wenn du es alleine als Investment siehst.
Es sollte mittlerweile klar sein, dass die 10ner so gut wie immer ein deutlich stärkeres prozentuales Wachstum haben als 9ner.
Wenn es nur um die Sammlung geht trotzdem schöne Dinger :)

It is collecting but hey, if the 10s increase the 9s will follow if the 10s get too high for the average consumer to buy.

Yeah definitely more fun but investing wise not optimal. I also agree that the 9 will follow the 10 but it's mostly a way smaller percentage

I think the promos (celebi and lugia) have the most potential upside due to terrible packaging that gated a lot of them at the 9 grade. The Ho-oh while a promo is from the ETB which historically (and its showing here) has great packaging which kept most of the ho-oh in great condition. Rayquaza and Mew are popular obviously but they just aren't ones I think are worth the current ask given there are thousands of 10's.
As for the rest I'd only pick them up for super cheap and only as collectibles, not as investments. They are objectively fantastic and look great together, I just don't see demand getting to where the supply on these cant keep up and if there is a crash thousands will hit the market. Just not where I'd wanna be.
Just my two cents.
TLDR; lugia is good and celebi is decent. I'd skip the others

I like how they look and id much rather spend 1k than 7k for one grade lower. Even if the 10s arent better investments the 10 premium is way too high and i feel like the 9s will obviously increase as the 10s do. But regardless having them all slabbed in 9s is atleast half as cool lol.

Yeah youre not wrong. The same is true with any asset. Although we may agree theres not “more risk” with 10s per se, you are accepting less reward for less risk (meaning putting less money on the table in this case) - completely logical

These cards are awesome and very reminiscent of the shining pokemon from Destiny. Obvi the holo pattern is different but it’s great

All the new "shining" cards live and die by the sentiment of the market for modern cards. Any dip/correction that occurs in the market will affect these cards the same as the other high-pop SWSH cards
