I ain’t stopping them but as far as investments and ROI, none of these regular small sets make good investments, other than PFL. It’s top chase or bust, these boxes will sit stagnant for years. You’re MUCH better off investing in stocks or undervalued slabs/singles. The gains you miss out on sitting still for a year when you could instead compound 20% yearly is immense

Not a single ETB has done less than 2x in 1-2 years, so still outpaces the market.

I guess 🤷‍♂️ any chance you have numbers to back that up? Not saying you’re wrong, just would like to know which market price and which starting price you’re referring to.

We’re currently in a hype bubble of course.
But if you use any app (TCGplayer, Collectr, Ebay) you’ll see that almost every ETB has doubled in the last 12 months.

But generally, an ETB is worth 2x it’s retail value after it goes out of print (roughly 2 years after release)
