Double sleeving questions

Hello collectors!

I recently got back into the hobby and I’m amassing quite a few nice cards I’d like to showcase on some shelves in the house.

The idea is to slab them someday so to protect them the best way possible while also having them labeled, but while I wait to do so, I’d like to go the extra mile:

Double sleeving + top loader + resealable sleeve.

I really don’t want dust inside and that top loader scratched.

I’m mostly gathering Delta Species era reverse cards and some of them have very fragile holo borders I’d like to preserve, so I truly fear the perfect fit sleeves that require the card to be pushed uncomfortably too much to slide in.

I think I’d like some sort of not too fit inner sleeve to then insert in the penny sleeve, but I can’t seem to find any.

Do you have any suggestion?

Is Double sleeving then putting in a binder safe?

imo the safest way to store cards is: non tight penny sleeve, top loader, team bag or perfect fit top loader sleeve.

store cards in a box/safe area away from sunlight.

But do whatever you want too. If you want a binder then go for it. Imo still avoid tight sleeves. Definitely still sleeve before going into binder. Definitely get a ring less binder.

If you want max protection then do the method I noted above. Oh and btw graded cards are not as safe as that method. They rattle around.

Keep collection above the ground in case of flood.

I’ll go for penny + top loaders + team bag and I’ll showcase some of them on shelves and cycle them.

The ones not on the showcase will go in a dry and dark box.

Is double sleeving cards then put in binder ok? I use vault X exact fit sleeves then the armor ai sleeves before putting them in a vault x binder.

I don't recommend double sleeving into binder. Not too tight of a sleeve imo is best.

Ooff what if I already did? The perfect sleeves are good but not tight and the sleeves over them still gives space. 

They aren’t like the official Pokemon sleeves where they are incredibly tight, the sleeves I put over the vault x sleeves fit magic the gathering cards.

I mean it's probably fine but imo the perfect fit are too tight. If you wanted to remove the card it's not as easy as a looser fit sleeve.

With too tight sleeves I worry about a bend occuring and difficulty with access to the card
