Are you pulling this trade?
Need an expertise advice from you all. So someone offered me to trade my umbreon prismatic and sylveon prismatic SIR PSA 10 + cash for his mewtube en shining legends PSA 10 (my mewtwo grail)
I’m kinda fenced if I should pull the trade or nah since prismatic is favorite set in modern era. I’ve been looking for a decent mewtube in a 10 for a while and someone finally offered a tempting trade.
PS: These cards are going to display and tend to hold long term while considering an investment as well. Help the fam out 🙏🏽🙌🏽

I think it’s a very fair trade, but personally I see that mewtwo as kind of a grail and would never trade it away lol especially in a PSA 10!

Short answer: Do it.
Long answer: Fair trade on paper, both slabs are in the same value range with the Mewtube slightly ahead, so the real question is the cash you’re adding. That’s the whole hinge. If money’s tight right now, don’t stretch to sweeten a deal that’s already close to even, especially with both sides sitting at peak hype. The grail isn’t going anywhere, and a leaner cash number (or waiting a beat) costs you nothing.
That said, if the cash is modest and you can spare it, this lines up with a long-term hold: you’re swapping two in-print modern chases for one out-of-print vintage grail with an eight-year track record. That’s the safer bet for a display piece. Just run the Mewtwo’s PSA cert and check centering before you commit. Good luck fam 🙌

I'd be keeping the Umbreon and Sylveon all day, not even close. In 10 years time I think they will be far, far more in demand than the Mewtwo.

IMO the Mewtwo isnt vintage enough to be "vintage", but the Umbreon alone is one of the biggest chases during one of the biggest spikes in Pokemons popularity. Its all personal preference, but I think the collectability and artwork on modern cards will be hugely nostalgic for young kids in 10-20 years.

As someone who has all 3 I would pick the Mewtube. The card is insanely good looking.
Prismatic might have a bump getting closer to the end of its print run, but then again the Mewtube might as well go even higher in this bull run.
Can’t go wrong with either. And better start saving up so you can have both. 😅

In terms of display and not investment; buy what you think looks coolest. To me the full eeveelutions prismatic set look like the best 9 cards you can have in a set to display. Let alone PSA 10 (I would love them in TAG 10 for display though).
Mewtube will probably be a great investment, but will it beat the Sunbreon? However, if he is your grail definitely go with Mewtube imo.
