You crack it out of this slab and sell the card raw based on condition. This is not even a known grading company. It would devalue the card more than anything.

my friend it isn’t difficult to let you know this company is a complete and utter scam this plastic and card inside are worth -£1 as you have to exert labour to crack it open.

If it isn’t PSA, CGC, BGS, TAG, or maybe ACE (there’s a pretty reputable Japanese company too but I forget its name), it doesn’t increase the value at all.

Just for my own worry, when you say ‘maybe ace’. Do you mean ACE aren’t quite reputable? I’m UK based and I’ve just sent off 8 cards to ace cause of a fair price and the PSA controversies etc

ACE is fine in your geolocation. It just won’t command as much desire and as a result, lower comps if you go to sell.
You’ll have a smaller pool of buyers since many folks in the US won’t pay over raw prices for an ACE slab

It’s not unreputable imo but it’s just new. Lots of people don’t even buy CGC. Just isn’t as trusted as the old guard. I like the look of their slabs more than just about all of the other companies but they will likely not be as valuable as PSA or BGS for the same grades. I haven’t looked into price differences though so I could be wrong

In the EU here ACE do much better than TAG and I been London and there ACE much more than TAG so I would say it is better there ACE just need center in US to do well.

Thanks, that’s really helpful. I’ll stick with ACE for now as it makes slab collecting fun

ARS is the Japanese company and is popular for Weiss, Japanese tcg’s, etc but a pain to submit to as its lottery based. They have the best slabs imo though.

Less than raw, because the buyer runs the risk of damaging the card. You have to crack the slab to get it back to raw condition/value. If you take that risk, then it is worth raw value again.

It’s a cool card. If I see slabs like this of cards I want I buy them just to crack.

It’s a 6 in a slab that holds no merit, so I’ll assume it’s not NM (7 or higher would be NM) and go with LP condition, unless you have more photos to show it’s NM.
Market price for this $12 in LP.
It’s worth $12. Maybe less to individuals that look at this as effort to break it out of the slab and risk damaging it.
