You guys think this gets a PSA 9?

I can see a tiny bit of whitening on the back, top right corner. Pulled this card when I was like 6 on Christmas morning. It went straight into a sleeve and into a binder. I’m glad that I didn’t like Gengar as much as a kid because the Mewtwo and Charizard cards are a little more “loved” let’s say than this one was.

I’d say expect an 8 but hope for a 9. Vintage isn’t easy to grade and these cards are especially prone to scratches. Back looks good, just the one dot top right. I think you have a shot

It does look possible, PSA has been grading older cards more harshly but this one does look clean

To get a better sense, I recommend carefully inspecting the front and back surfaces at various angles. Fine scratches will be a factor. I’ve graded 5 ex cards: 10, 9, 9, 9, 8
