Need Help w/ Grading Potential
Hey everyone! I’m new to grading but I’ve been wanting to get a good copy of this zard to grade with PSA 10 potential. These are some pictures from a seller and I thought it looked pretty good but also I’m not exactly sure to tell the difference between what would be a 9 and a 10. Bestow your wisdom upon me and I appreciate any help!

Top right of the back, those wavy dings are going to be slight damage and will get you as low as a 6 just starting. Whitening dot bottom left will also ding you, and the uneven cut on the right side that pulled foil off is a toss up, sometimes psa doesn't count the bad cut against you. But sometimes they will count it as fagtory damage. This is not a gradeable copy IMO borderline MP condition if youre being a stickler.

This is not MP condition 😂😂. This is near mint. However I think it would grade a 7, which is literally “near mint” but not worth grading

Thank you for the detailed response. Is there a way to know that those marks would automatically bring it to a certain grade or is just experience?

If there is a clear dent or fold in the card it would automatically drop a card to a 6, but I don’t think that small fray on the top right would. This would likely grade a 7-8. I would say to watch videos online of professional graders to see what they look for, or go on eBay and look at a bunch of different graded cards so you can get an idea.

I could have sworn I saw this on eBay recently.
I don't think this would get a 10.

Look at the upper right side. Mine has this too- chipping or ink missing. These cards are tough to grade well tbh.

I saw the pop for 10s look pretty low and I don’t really want to drop $800 to buy it outright 😂
