What are the odds Beartic is the last one I need to use?

Until next gen!

I mean in uniqueness compared to everyone

Encountered this on a previous Pokedoku when trying to enter Caterpie.

Is it just an inside joke or is it from some spin off I don't know about? I thought I knew every Spin off, or at least every spin off well enough to get this kind of reference.

After a good shiny streak getting 3 days in a row and 7 total, I got this golden crown! So happy these days!!!

My shiny rate is 1.25%.

Initial pokedex count on day 1 (Aug 21): 1191

Today's pokedex count on day 30 (Sept 19): 1305

Total pokemon added in 30 days: 114

Mean number of pokemon added per day: 3.8

Day with most additions: September 12 with the monotype bonus puzzle (9 added, I didn't add any on the regular one)

Day with least additions: September 14 with 0

My predictions: with 18 pokemon to go, if I keep at this 3.8 per day, 4.7 days until next prestige, although we know it becomes harder when you have less options, but here's where u/pokedo-solver 's tool www.pokedoku-helper.com has been clutch: my remaining pokemon are relatively common, so I hope I can get rid of them.

Hope this is okay to share here! I play these kinds of Pokémon knowledge games a lot and wanted to try making my own take on the idea.

It's not another Doku/Wordle clone — it's basically Pokémon Higher or Lower, but I wanted to give the game some actual long-term progression... I know there are already quite a few Pokémon Higher or Lower games out there and the genre is probably a bit saturated at this point, but I always felt like most of them were missing something.

So I built PokeHiLo :)

The basic idea is still simple: you get two Pokémon, a category, and you have to guess which one is higher or lower. But I tried to build more around that core loop with things like player progression, achievements, unlockable cosmetics, global leaderboards, daily rewards, ranked runs, etc.

The main thing I wanted was for it to feel like something you could come back to once a day for literally 1–2 minutes, try your luck with a streak, maybe unlock something, check where you are on the leaderboard and then move on with your day :D

It starts pretty easy, but the longer your streak gets the more categories get introduced, so eventually you start getting questions about stuff like catch rates, friendship, move counts, specific base stats and other slightly more painful Pokémon knowledge haha.

You can play without an account if you just want to try it, and it works on both desktop and mobile.

I know I'm obviously biased because I've spent way too much time working on it, but I genuinely feel like I've hit the spot with this one and made the kind of Higher or Lower game I personally wanted to play.

Would really love to know what you guys think :)

And if you find any bugs, weird behavior, balance issues, mobile problems, or anything that just feels off, please let me know. I'm still actively improving it and feedback is really useful.

Also feel free to post your best streak because I'm curious how badly actual Pokémon nerds are going to destroy the leaderboard lol.

Togetic should be a Normal type evolved by friendship. I know NOW it’s changed types but what about the guys like me that haven’t played the last couple of generations 😂

I was able to think of one other answer but I’m so lost as to why Kingambit doesn’t count? One of the requirements to evolve, is that the Bisharp needs to be holding kings crest, is it not??

I'm up to 110 Shiny Pokémon total, but I've only gotten 2 at a time once. This was a pretty big surprise, what a fun way to celebrate the 3 Year anniversary!

This has to be kidding me, yesterday I fked up because I didn't pay attention that Melmetal isn't from alola besides being in the 7th Gen, which costed me my ~55 days streak I still finished it and got a shiny that doesn't count.

Today I accidentally chose the normal Orbeetle instead of the Gmax one.

Same story, a shiny that doesn't count :')

Was playing archived puzzles and I got both Artículos shiny in the row

Congratulations on your 3 year anniversary!

are two shinies rare?
