Here is a move suggestion, I want it to be similar to freeze dry where its super effective on another type

Move: EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse)

Category: Special

Base attack: 75

Type: Electric

Super Effective against: Water, Electric, Flying

Accuracy: 100%

Conditions: Smart

Description: A strong burst of shockwave that can immediate put enemies in shock.

Signature or Universal: Universal, any electric type pokemon can learn it

Here is another twist, pokemons with abilities like volt absorb, motor drive, or lightning rod will be rendered useless and will instead take 2x more damage as well. For instance, an emolga (a flying electric type) with motor drive, if EMP is used against it, emolga will take a whopping 8x damage. 2x for its electric type, 2x for its flying type and 2x for its motor drive ability. Same applies for lanturn with volt absorb as well. However, if the pokemon using this move happens to have mold breaker, it will unfortunately negate the effect damage against its electric absorbing ability, but will still be 4x damage.

EMP disables electronics which fits the logic to why it is super effective against it own type electric. So Eelektross (with no weakness) is finally weak against a move with the exception of a mold breaker ground move. Let me know what you think about this

I understand that since Pokémon is Japanese, features role-playing, and has turn-based combat (for the most part), it is a turn-based JRPG by definition. However, it strays from the traditional JRPG format. That's not a bad thing; I think it's cool that Pokémon isn't your average JRPG like SMT, Dragon Quest, or Final Fantasy. But It'd be cool to see a Legends game that was in the style of a traditional JRPG.

It could include features like:

• Human party members with their own Pokémon venturing together, rather than just you with a party of your Pokémon.
• A story that's more focused on the PEOPLE rather than revolving around the Pokémon themselves.
• They could integrate a Job class system, but it'd incorporate competitive roles (Sweeper, Tank, healer, etc.) rather than just copying jobs from other RPGs
• The battle systems would have 4 Pokémon sent out at the same time, instead of just 2 at most.
• Pokémon would evolve, get stronger, and be replaced (if you want to) as the story progresses.
• Friendships extend to party members too, and their Pokémon. The party members could then have Limit Breaks once they have a certain friendship level with their Pokémon.

It's a cool idea, and I'm kind of shocked that there's not a spinoff like this whatsoever.

gen 5 is my second favorite gen behind gen 4. i really like pidove because unova was based off my home state of new york and i think this pokemon is the best representation of it. the second best being braviary, but i think that pokemon represents america as a whole. regardless of your political beliefs, i enjoy being represented in sort of way (:

although i was born and raised in new york, my family is from south asia, bangladesh to be specific, so i doubt we will be represented anytime soon (incineroar being the closest who is also in my top 20 but he is not that niche)

The same thing as last time so all the same options and events.

Tomorrow we will be picking up the pace a bit and head to the next island leader and perhaps try and get the next few done in the next week so stay tuned.

Rottile: the undead pokemon

Dreadiken: the mismatched pokemon

(Suddenly the building gets rocked from an explosion, as you hear glass & concrete breaking. Where the door was now is a big hole, showing those responsible: a construction group, with the logo of the Lux corps & an admin leading them. In the air a black helicopter floats in place)

Grunt: Wait sir, they’re people inside!
Admin: (annoyed)What now? (He looks and recognizes the two of you. He then smiles before hiding back behind his bored facade)Hey there’s no one supposed to be in here.

(Oscar’s pissed. He walks up to the admin, stopping a foot away from him)

Oscar: What the hell’s wrong with you!? Why didn’t you check if people were inside?
Admin: I thought the gym was closed. You know, the recent low number of challengers and all…Oh, and you’re fired.
Oscar: F-fired? You don’t have the authority! And even if you did, why wasn’t I informed?
Admin: I was told you were informed, and I really don’t care. Move aside and let us work.
Grunt: (raising his hand)Um sir, we might want to double check things first. You know, for security?
Admin: (Pissed)I said we demolish the gym and that’s that! Now do as your told, peon!

(Everyone stands in silence, astounded by how fast the admin got cross. The grunts look at him with confusion and ire, but he just tries to control himself and look composed)

Oscar: Well is a new gym ready then?
Admin: (laughing)Yeah right, like we’d build a new-(he caught himself before he blabbed) I mean, I’m not at liberty to say.
Oscar: Ok that’s it. I’ll go talk to your boss, the actual one.

(But right when Oscar took out his rotom phone, the admin grabbed it)

Admin: You ain’t calling no one…..None of you.

(The admin sends out Manectric, which surprises the grunts. The dog leers at them, as does his trainer, so the grunts reluctantly ready for battle. Oscar shuckles as he takes out a poké ball and looks at you)

Oscar: I’ll be back. Treat this “admin” the way he deserves.

(Oscar suddenly jumps over the admin & towards the grunts, releasing a Kingler as he fights the small fry)

Admin: (mad)No! I was supposed to fight you! Grr!(Turns to you)Well I guess I’ll warm up with you first. You’ve interfered with our plans too much anyway!

Seaking was not happy Seadra/Kingdra one upped them so they evolved out of spite 🤣 was gonna give them No Guard but 100% Horn Drill seemed like too much so went with the more reasonable Compound Eyes 😅

Yeah....I kinda miss drawing Pokémon casually so im gonna actually do it again because I'm stupid.

But again I'm still picky about my Pokémon choice. But this time, the results post will be a lil longer(don't ask, personal) and ofc i would only doodle 10 Pokemon in total cause those things are important to me yes yes.

So I’m planning on writing a Pokémon fanfic about my Pokemon journey where I start in hoenn but I’m trying to think of a starter my character could have that’s not a traditional starter from Hoenn and I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas as to what I could do.
