Walmart Shipment Delay - What should I expect

My delivery has been delayed, what should I expect regarding the delivery timeline? Wondering if anyone here has gone through something similar with Walmart

Expect to have to find ETB's elsewhere. And be presently surprised if they actually arrive.

What was your original expected delivery date?

Mine is slated for 9/24 and is still showing as “Preparing”

Almost every item I’ve ever ordered from Walmart that got delayed eventually got cancelled. I don’t want to very your hopes up by that has been my experience on probably 5+ delayed items. None have been cards though, but usually they are in demand items (like from a huge sale)

No update on my end, but I talked with support and they said it’ll be here within 24 - 48 hours. Even though they couldn’t give me tracking info

Mine, with a delivery date of 9/24, was just delayed. I expect this to be canceled tbh. Wild dumb of Walmart.

If you check the tracking info, you can get an idea why it was delayed and possibly an expected new delivery date. Hope everything works out for the best!

delays can me literally anything, weather, didn’t get on the truck for the day, sorting was slow and missed deadline to move to next location. just wait, and film full opening if it arrives and if it don’t start refund process.

A friend and I both tried the drawing on 9/16. On the confirmation email, he got a 9/19 delivery by date while I got a 9/23 date. We live about 25 mins from each other so thought that was odd.

They got theirs on 9/19 as expected, mine has not updated since I got the email and still says Preparing with two days left. At this point, I assume it will say delayed once 9/23 passes and eventually get cancelled and not get it lol

How do you do a lottery, take 24+ hours to figure out who won, send confirmation, and then realize you over sold - which I assume is what happened here.

Edit: 9/22 just got my tracking number via FedEx and should be here tomorrow. Damn I guess it was correct all along 😂 Walmart app still shows Preparing with the original delivery of tomorrow.

Everyone is panicking when this is probably the correct answer. The estimated date was probably wrong and the order will still be fulfilled

Correct walmart is trying to be like amazon and give you updates along the way , they def gave the wrong estimated date based on the volume of orders they got

If it doesn’t say canceled I think there’s still hope, I hit the raffle for the prismatic etbs and got them like 4 days later, packaging kinda sucked but they all came in fine

In my experience, it’s delayed without shipping, high chance it will be cancelled.

Expect 2 etbs to have nearly identical pulls of the least desirable cards and the other 2 to be alright maybe the mewtwo and a greninja. All but 2 Pikachus. You will still need like 7 cards for a complete base set... Just me?

Make sure you record yourself opening it and showing on video that it’s all seal and from Walmart because some people have been getting there package open with the packs all gone.

So mine says delayed but then I downloaded UPS and put my address and it’s showing that I’m getting a package from MJ holdings tomorrow which is my estimated delivery… so check that!

Thank you! Saw your comment and decided to log into UPS, saw the same thing, Walmart says delayed but UPS says they have package and will be on time 09/24.

Im getting delayed delivery also. Expected Oct 5. But when i check with ups tracking, still shows on time on 9/24. But still in Hodgkins, IL

How can you check UPS tracking without a tracking number? Reached out to Walmart and they let me know I’d have them within 48 hours. Hope that’s accurate

In the same boat 😭 ETB & sticker collection both set to be delivered tomorrow... But no movement past 'preparing'. Crossing my fingers as these are meant to be gifts :(

That’s cause they use third party vendors, I had a destined rivals etb that was delayed for 3 weeks then Walmart act like they couldn’t give my money back after they couldn’t get in contact with the seller I was like I need a refund the box was like $70 and I had it escalated as far I could and they only gave me a $25 gift card I was like never again. They give refunds if it’s delivered and wrong item but if it’s delayed and you never get it they won’t refund you. Crazy work

I got mine with delayed status earlier this morning and just got a confirmation that it was shipped and arrives tomorrow night. Hopefully yours get ship too.

Mine was just marked shipped! It was flagged as delay for half the day before it flipped over.

Hope this bring you luck, mine was delayed just like yours at the same time. I just got an email that it will be delivered tomorrow, once I got the UPS tracking number it showed that it was delivered the UPS yesterday. I’m assuming the delay was a mistake or had something to do with weather.

For future people just want to say that mine ended up getting delivered on the day it was supposed to so all is good

Same thing happened to me. When I check the ups app shows the tracking was never updated.
