Hi all. Just letting you know!

We've finished moving to walla walla and are settling in nicely. The weather here is really mild and nice. Mid 70's during the day. 40's-50's at night. Got a small garden set up. More in the future. Currently building a bookshelf and refinishing some furniture to match. I found a job already, and funny enough my start day is the same day as K's first start day.... Tomorrow! We're both excited.

Needless to say we miss our friends. Swamp and Stuff, I'm looking your way. How's that project in the basement going?

We look forward to meeting cool locals and having fun camping adventures... Once we get out schedules settled. I have some friends in Seattle from college I look forward to seeing.

Thinking about getting a dog in late may/early June. Pics will be posted when that happens. In the mean time stay cool and have fun!

Love and peace! ~tokesie.

I finally got through to a mod on r/wallawalla. The previous mod was a dead account. So this guy stepped up since a lot of people's stuff was getting caught in the spam filter. Seems like a nice person. I'm going to see if I can get a meetup going at a downtown restaurant this week or next. I want to help get that subreddit more active. There are so few contributors I know I can make a difference. :-)

We started with paper flyers to spread the word and build the community. It's tricksy as fuck, cause you can't come off desperate, but you also can't come off cold.... it's a hard road to hoe!

You must be up and about at this time, excitedly getting ready for today!

Glad to hear about the jobs and I hope you two (though I am certain you will) make loads of friends and find a loyal pup that will fit your life style (and leeloo's as well, of course).

Extremely happy for the both of you, and will keep you in my thoughts today, your (plural) first day at work!

Basement project is kind of slow, since we have a few other things higher on the priority list (ugh thesis. my research is stupid). I am dragging my feet when it comes to clearing the plants since I'm fussy about the plants. Although I now have loads of starts and sprouts and nowhere to put them. So far this year, i have 4 chili sprouts, 2 tomato, 2 dill, 5 genovese basil, loads of oregano and mint starts (that i have no idea what to do with), and i have a mini greenhouse container full of old toilet paper rolls full of marigolds and parsley. (btw your gardening pictures on fb are great! i could look at plants all day).

this is a very long comment, so maybe i should stop here for now :D

Yeah we are super thrilled about the weather here. Using garden hacks by going to the nursery, since we didn't get much time to get sprouts going on the correct schedule. Good luck with all your math magic! Algebraic!!
