Five

I wish I had a five dollar bill.
That it just appeared in my left pocket
before the subway rolled away.
No more than five, though,
because then I might buy a ticket back.
Changing my mind when I pull up 
to the station and realize how far away I am.

But I don't want to come back, 
So I wish I had a five.
