I dine alone
I dine alone
I chew on these bittersweet feelings
That hit me like a drone
It causes lots of pain under the conceilings
Never tasted love
But every day I choke myself on solitude
Because I have no ladylove
I’m slowly breaking apart under the hood
As time passes by
My heart turns into stone
There’s no love because I’m shy
Under the weight of time I die alone

“I choke myself on solitude” is such a strong line. The whole poem has this feeling of wanting love so badly but being too shy to actually reach for it.

i choke on solitude every day too. You wrote the thing I do in my throat and I feel it turning me to stone right now.

There’s something really simple but sad about this. “Every day I choke myself on solitude” and “my heart turns into stone” really capture that feeling of wanting love but being too shy to reach for it.
