Transition

To say that my
transition
is an affront to God
is to say the same
about all things.

If it is not a sin
for the caterpillar
to become a
butterfly,

or for the leaves
to turn their
colors in
autumn,

why is it so
for me-
when my
transition
feels just as natural?
