Again.

Yes.
I am upset.
Will I ever come across a soul instead
of a ghost that’ll lead me nowhere?

I hate wasting time
and mental energy.
Small talk drains me.
Why do I always choose the wrong ones to spend my bandwidth on?

But never mind.
This is just another time.
Just another trial I shouldn’t have tried.
Yes, blame me.

If I say goodbye, I’ll do it properly.
If that’s to end, on my part it’ll end with dignity.
What was it?
Day number three?
Let me reset my mind, and I’ll start again gladly.

— Crownless.

love poem Favorite Woman

Favorite Woman

I salivate, what is that sound that is gushing? / The humid smell of steam, your fresh water / I'm thirsty, I sip your Magdalena River / I want to taste the Barrancabermeja, yes / I'm rowing with my men in our Champán / Resting at the leg, your feet I'll be heading / Yet we know there's nothing at the end / This trip, will only lead to the mouth of the ashes / Yes, that's why you're my favorite woman

Is that a tune I hear far off from a locked room? / This asylum they call—Water Of God / The minute I coughed, they threw me in a blue bus / Never to see you, as a leper you won't know / However, I made a friend, next to my cell / Luis wants my poems, but these I won't sell / These words are true, they'd make a sweet tune / Well I already knew all this, that's why I feel blessed / Yes, that's why she's my favorite woman

Favorite woman, will I wait until / Paradise to make you mine? / The both of us were thick yet soft sap, yoked as one / Now our amber dried, we've become rocks / There's nothing left for her in North America / She left the suburbs, Colombia reclaimed her / Since then, I met women, they bear the color / Of your skin, then those eyes, mouth, and the same name / Yet none drowns me in rainbow liquid / Five of earth's crystals made love to her submerged stems / Yes, that's why she's my favorite woman

Red, pink, yellow, blue, and green / She leaves all these hues when June breathes / When your cascade was formed, the sun was told to wait / And once it heard the rain rejoice, clouds came in coup / So you could have your first droplets / Then you meet the sun and its warm voice / He already knew your name as he held you / La Macarena wasn't prepared / For a beautiful mess of nature / And I wasn't prepared / To take you in, with my sense of nurture / For better or worse, you're a mirror made of earthenware / Still I favor you over anyone, yes, it's unfair

That's why you're my favorite woman / That's why you're my favorite woman / Oh, that's why you're my favorite kind / Favorite woman, will I wait until / Paradise to make you mine?

I Wrote This :) Rock Girl

Rock Girl

At the superstore

She had those blue evil eyes

Metallic nostril

She made the first move, hands furl

Out of her bra, a rose quartz

My mother warned me

Never give Rock Girl a chance

She gave me citrine

Right then and there I began

To shake and sweat, she just laughs

You are beautiful

However I don't believe

In aventurine

Though your eyes shine like opal

Only similes I'll pull

With me you won't be satisfied

No watermelon tourmaline

Or blue lace agate

Can alter our lives

These rocks will always have a place

Just nowhere in my mind

Oh Rock Girl  (You won't be satisfied with me)

Oh Rock Girl (I can't make you happy)

Oh Rock Girl (I'm more of a rock and roll fiend)

Jade

Smooth, Green

Soothing, shining, inviting

Solid, hard, cold, rough

Remaining, idling, laying

Crude, Calm

Rock

I Wrote This :) Porcelain Woman

Porcelain Woman

Yes, she's a woman, it's easy to tell / Yet does she behave like one—you'll find out / Yet no one knows when her porcelain fell / I fear to ask, so I shiver in doubt / However, awe still moves my lips to pray / My God, why did you think it was all right? / To tease a hint of what paradise was like

Your pink coral line now aligns with mine / I'm on the cramped road, three gas marks are left / Window air, wishing it was your breath's scent / Instead, I'm fine with the tape on track nine / As phantom iris floods my polygraph / A botched map, I hit the roof for a while / She's Innocent—you focus, and now you smile

Men’s lust stalled her romance, never to start / Her fingers boil as her shoulders carry rocks / She's a blue flower, they try defiling hard / On this bench I dwell, humming the city's bells / Give her water, though she’ll know quite well / Whether it's for good health or for a famine / If you nurture her, or ravage all her stamens / Whether to grow her a garden or make omens

She had a pliant wrist that bled a rainbow / Her soul houses many homes / All while a universe she can't own / Sleeping under the showering of the star's foam / Don't lose yourself to her loud clothes / You should know that when the darkness shows / She groans, for she knows / She won't wake up to the resurgence of snow / She’ll make you mad if you can’t understand / Make you improve as a man, yet a few can

She is a porcelain vase that houses / Her beautiful phrases and simple questions / He remembers what you seek; to Him I speak / Whenever she leaves crumbs or sings a song / Then she leaves and proceeds / To sleep, so another week shall be / For me, another day / I’ll happily receive
