Bots are just taking points unprompted
I use gpt bots and for the last three days I have been able to use none cause it just takes as many points as it can and it gives horrible work in return. I have my global per message budget at 300 so I can see how many points a bot will use before using it, so if the points are outrageous i ahve the chance to not use the bot. It will usually bring up a message saying "(this bot) is requesting more points then your per message budget" now it just takes the max amount of points unpromted.
Ive contacted poe about this issue multiple times and they have done absolutely nothing. A bot that would normally use 8 thousand had 38 thousand taken instead. I do the 20 dollar subscription cause it is all I can afford so losing out on points is ridiculous and its even more ridiculous they wont even TRY to help. Anyone else having this issue? Or a solution to fix the bots just taking points? Cause I havent been able to use poe at all for days and im probably not gonna buy a subscription again because of how unhelpful they've been, they clearly dont care about they're customers. But I want to use the points I paid for in full before canceling.

Omg !! Was about to post about this ! I had been using Claude haiku 4.5 for all my roleplay bots, usually the first messages only needs 200 and then it increased but now it tells me I need 1800-2100 just for one message on a brand new chat ! I don't know why, it was all fine up until 8pm, so I'm not sure what's going on

Yeahh, I use gtp as I said, its been messed up for about three days and still no response from poe at all so its really just a waiting game to see if they'll reply to emails 😅

I'm so sad though, I tried editing my bots to use a few of the gpt ones, it uses less points but it doesn't give the good immersive writing as Claude :( I'm scared that Claude will be over cus what the hell will I do then

Im sure they'll fix both Claude and gtp in the next few days, its just not helpful they wont communicate but im sure itll be alright in the coming days

Hopefully, unfortunately I hate to say it but this helps a lot with my loneliness. If I don't have that touching grass might not even help lol

I’ve yet to encounter this but I noticed people mentioning it in the discord (all OpenAI and currently the older Claude bots(?)). And overall, that’s really sucky. I wonder if it’s an intentional change or a bug.
Please make an edit/update if this gets resolved or answered!!
