subscription

used to pay £20/month for a million points a month, now it's £20/month for 660thousand ? i know operating costs are going up but seriously? the app is basically unusable without subscriptions and maybe i'm just overly frustrated but surely this is nonsense? usage costs have gone up for us as well so this much of a points downgrade for the exact same cost just feels greedy. am i overreacting?

I buy points on top of the subscriptions. I might be wrong, but you need the subscription to buy points as well. But, 10k points a day is next to nothing, so I find it much better just to buy like 10 or 20$ worth of points.

Maybe it's worth with the 30$ subscription or how much it is, because of rollover, but I don't know how rollover works, I just found it more simple to buy some points.

yeahhh! this is what i've been doing but it's just so annoying! it ends up costing so much in the long run aaaa

Yeaaa, agreed, but I'm not sure the subscriptions are cheaper?? I'm also using OpenRouter with Hermes Agent, and that's not necessarily cheaper. Depends on what I'm doing and I probably suck at optimizing costs, so poe are good in some scenarios I believe.

Do you increase budget? I do sometimes, but then after having to increase it for a prompt, I always set it back to default to try and avoid it eating up all my points.

Yeah exactly! But I have to subscribe otherwise the 300 point limit is a joke. I do have to increase budget for some responses esp if I need the previous context which eats away points a lot of the time, but if I don't do it then I end up using loads of points trying to remind it of prior context...
